Okay hotel
from rosscoe7999
Stayed here for one night in October, 2007, after our original hotel messed up reservations and we were without a hotel for a night. That being said, I can't really criticize this hotel too harshly. It is what it is; it is not trying to be a luxury hotel and for the price in Paris, it is an okay value. It is just that the hotel has a run-down, down-market feel to it. The lights in the hallway are the harshest fluorescents I have ever seen, and while it may be safe, it doesn't feel nice. The room was so small that I had to manuver...

Ibis is great in a pinch!
from World_Underwater
My sister and I stayed here in September. We booked a last minute trip and had a hard time finding a decent hotel for under $200, with 2 weeks notice and during the rugby world cup. Family recommended Ibis. I never heard of it before, but we contacted the place 5 days before we got there, and they had plenty of room and great rates -- about 100 Euro. We were very surprised! Very clean, modern. We were on the 9th floor (highest floor, and yes, there's an elevator!), and we were treated to a beautiful view of Sac du Coeur. Beautiful!...

good location
from empee3
We stayed here for 3 nights at an Internet special rate of 60 Euros per night, excluding the 7 Euro open buffet breakfast. The hotel premises and room are very clean. Location is very decent and safe. It is within walking distance to restaurants, bars and the Sacre-Coeur. The open buffet breakfast for 7 Euros per person is OK, as it had no variety. Only one type of cheese, meat and bread. We thought that they could do better for the price. Also we had a room for two persons, but the room had only 2 medium sized towels. Normally,...

excellent value / great location - ask for a room between floors 2-9
from VW-Karmann
This was our second trip to the Monmartre and having researched boutique hotels in the area, their reviews were very variable, so we decided to play safe with an Ibis. Yes its simple, much like a UK Travel Lodge / Inn but it was exceptionally clean, well equipped with very helpful, english speaking staff. We arrived in the late evening and check in was smooth and the Receptionist was able to provide us with all the information we needed. We were there for 3 nights. On our first evening, we were allocated a 1st floor room. For security...

Ok for the price
from Kaschu
This hotel is well located, very near to a metro station. It is also 2 or 3 blocks away from the famous Moulin Rouge, but the area did not seem very friendly at night. The hotel lobby was EXTREMELY hot, so we sweat a lot while performing the check-in. The first attendant we met at the front desk wasn't very friendly also, but the others we had contact later were kind. We asked for a non-smokers room, but we got one with a terrible cigarrete smell in the mattress and pillows. The carpet, on the floor, didn't seem very clean as there were...

Central, basic, staff both extremes
from troybadoo
First point we booked Etap, set our sat nav which brought us to the door, yet it was an Ibis! No one could explain where the Etap had gone etc however they had heard of us and were giving us the booked rate. Anyone familiar with Ibis is the rooms are BASIC, however all the essentials were there and I was pleasantly surprised to find a bath in the bathroom. Our only real gripe came with the wireless internet access promised on the web site. Upon arrival at the first room we realised there was no such thing, we went to...

Excellent hotel with very friendly staff
from Suzzette
This place is excellent! I had stayed in a hotel for a similiar price in the 17th and it was awful. This place is a must for those on a budget. Clean rooms, friendly staff, excellent buffet meals and nice bar area. If I was going back to Paris I would definately stay here again!
Paris break
from bennec
Paris was very wet! We spent four nights here and despite the heavy showers made the most of our trip. Breakfast for the price good value and very generous. Many choices and courteous staff to assist. Rooms cleaned well each day and the hotel is encouraging guests to be environmental friendly. Well worth the price and def more than a 2 star hotel.Only advice is to take a hairdryer as none in the rooms and only a few available to borrow .
small room but nice
from A TripAdvisor Member
We stayed here for only a night on a short weekendbreak in a warm weekend in June. We booked a bustrip to Paris, so we didn't choose this hotel ourselves. But it was quite ok : clean and sober room, but a bit small (wouldn't have been a problem if it wasn't so hot that weekend). Also tiny bathroom but clean and everything worked! Breakfast was ok too, not so many choice, but what we had tasted fine. Location was nice, opposite the cemetery of Montmartre, which wasn't sinister but romantic. And very close to the Sacré Coeur,...

Nice Hotel
from AnnetteCinCA
Just returned from this hotel 2 days ago. We found this place after a horrible experience at a hotel down the street. What a relief it was to find a nice, clean room that was big enough to turn around in! Though this is 2 star rated hotel, it is much nicer. The rooms were decent size, clean, and quiet. The layout reminded us all of a cruise ship cabin. Maybe the quaint charm of the typical French hotel is lost in this larger hotel chain, but we were glad to give that up after the hole we stayed in the night before! The breakfast...
