Nice location, horrible buffet

Just came back from Ireland yesterday from a 10 day tour. The Bunratty Castle hotel was last on our itinerary. The rooms were large and clean and the lobby, bar and outdoor patio were very nice. HOWEVER, they are in the process of construction and more than a few of my fellow tour members complained about being awakened at 6:30ish by construction noise. Also, the breakfast buffet was hands down the worst meal we ate the entire 10 days in Ireland. Soupy scambled eggs, tough as leather bacon, and I could barely cut through the hash browns they were so tough. The waite staff was scurrying all around you like mad getting this and that done in the small and unattractive dining room. The message was loud and clear "Eat and get out, we have other people to feed"
