Smelly rooms....less than basic!! NO Aor Con as advertided and paid for.We were told by the Restaurant Manager to open the window if we wished to be cooler. No Wi Fi....and the final straw...we were given a FAKE bill for 2 breakfasts we never had and charged to our room.
Staff unhelpful and made us pay.
We checked out one week early

this hotel is in the heart of the action for beach /bus/ bars/ cafes.
the hotel rooms could do with a wee paint touch up but they ar kept spotless
we paid for bed and breakfast the breafast the usual nearly the full english plus meat and cheese or fruit cornflakes tea coffee juice.
they had got new sun beds for the pool area and looks if they ar going to do some remedil work in that area
we decided to have the buffet evening meal in the hotel
it whas 10 euros each but they gave us a 2euro each discount because we guest the food always soup 2 meat or fish plus chips/ potats /vegis
the tv in the room had 3 english speaking channels one being foxes movies (no cost)
the supermarket is just along the road for all your needs plus they have a lovely cafe for snacks ect.a pint o beer in the loacal bars cost 1.90 euro
its a good value break, plus they drive on the same side of us.

Spent a week in Paphos to attend a mates wedding, booked into the Daphne and I must say it was pretty good.
Only there for a week so chose to eat out rather than buy food and make full use of the appartment facilities.
My room was good, walls could do with a freshen up but otherwisw there were no problems.
Hotel staff were always on hand to answer queries about the area or phone you a cab.
Only thing that puts me off of going back is the flight duration of 4.5 hrs from Gatwick. Too long for me in an Airbus operated by Easyjet!
Advice to you travellers, stay at the Daphne but book with a decent carrier!!

We stayed self catering for a week in June in this hotel and it was noisy 24/7 because it is on the main street and because of the air conditioner of the restaurant's block just opposite our flat that kept switching on and off the whole night. The size of the flats are good, but it is dated and it was infested with huge cockroaches, never seen anything as big as that...The staff are doing their best to keep it clean and running , but I don't think this is enough. However, the other low point of Paphos is that there is no sandy beach...it is only rocks..There is a beach in Coral bay, about 10km from Paphos on the bus.I dont think I want to go again to Paphos and especiali to Daphne appartments...

Stayed two wks at the Daphne with my family. We were treated very well and had no complaints what so ever! On arrival we had no toaster... so they went over to the supermarket and purchased us a new one that evening! Not many places would bother.
The rooms were clleaned every day and the selection at breakfast was good. The location was perfect....no need for car hire; which saved us some cash! The hotel is right near the harbour, Mc Donalds, Papantonios Supermarket, decent bars and not far from bar street and all the restaurants. All the staff were friendly; especially the bar lady and maintenance man! Highly recommended for everyone!
We booked our transfers privately rather than with the holiday company. We used an English guy called Gerry; who has been over there for the past 5 yrs... so knows quite a bit about the local area. Would highly reccommend him to anyone else who is booking transfers. We were picked up in a massive air con'd 4x4 which was perfect as we had all our luggage. We weren't waiting arround as he was their as soon as we landed and as soon as we checked out and carried all the bags for us. Was also half the price of other companies we had looked at. If anyone requires the same service he can be contacted on 00357 9915 8312 (Cypriot mobile) or email: gerrybrant@hotmail.co.uk
You can also get a bus to Coral Bay from the stop opposite Debenhams for 1 Euro, which is great value as its quite far out. They run very frequently. Would reccommend the beach as it was sandy and you can go in the sea without worry. Plus there are showers and toilets which can be used for free.
Had a great holiday and would definately go back!

On arrival we were allocated a two bedroom ground floor apartment with a pool view - not bad considering we booked a one bedroom non-pool view room!
The apartment was basic but huge. Two twin bedded rooms were again basic, but large and functional with plenty of storage space for clothes etc. We were there for two weeks and the beds were made every day except one.
Bathroom was functional with shower over the bath. A bit old and dated but I didn't pay for luxury. Towels were changed every day with more than enough for the four of us.
Living area had a two person sofa, two easy chairs and a dining table. The TV had BBC World News and a couple of English speaking film channels (Fox) - not great reception but watchable if watching TV is your idea of a holiday!
Kitchen was adequate. Cooker (with two two ring hob and small oven), fridge, usual cutlery items, glasses, mugs etc. Large 6 foot serving hatch connecting kitchen to living area.
The whole apartment was cleaned daily.
If you want parking it is free at the hotel itself - 10 Euro deposit required for key to access gated and secure car park.
Location was superb. 50 metres to large supermarket, where you could buy all you required.
1 minutes walk took you to the seafront and the numerous restaurants and bars that Pafos has to offer.
Quickly back to the apartments and where I have "knocked off" a mark. The pool is nice with beds surrounding - but unfortunately, if you want to "book" a bed (as you can tell, I don't agree with a booking system), you've got to be as selfish as the rest of them and have your towel on a bed by 7am!
All-in-all a fantastic holiday and I will definately be repeating!

Just back from two weeks in this very basic self catering apt. We had more interaction from the stray kitten than from the staff. Never met such unhelpful people in all my life.Paid for a room with a pool view hhaaaa!! got some kind of tree that went from the ground apt right up past our apt (1st) so could see very little of the pool, oh yes the pool was more like a communal swimming pool where ALL people passing by could come in for a swim and i mean anyone, oh yes "the management" had a sign up ALL WELCOME!!!!!!
Over run with 18-30 squad(nothin against them, but recommended as family friendly ) at weekends up all night jumpin in/out pool with glass bottles in hand served by the bar staff, absolutely no regard for other guests or safety around pool area, very loud shouting playing music, left it full of rubbish, broke umberellas at pool, found dirty clothing and continually smoked in the pool, that was through the night, during the day you could not get a bed for it being over run by any tom ,dick or harry, need i say more. Had one meal which was ok and seemed to be the only time the resturant manager smiled. Advised him about disturbances and he said he would contact the manager who would speak to me about it, still waiting! The only positive comments to make are it is in a central location next to the rocky beach/shops etc and the maid service was very good, helpful, worked hard to keep the apartments clean. Not for families!!!!!!!

Are you having a laugh? This was promised to be a fantastic place for a couple to stay with beautiful sea views and a great 1 double bed roomed apartment. HAHA! Absolutely not!! My partner and I stayed here for 1 week and hated it. It was DIRTY, run down and definitely not what we were told. Our sea view was a car park. We actually had paid extra for a sea view....so we paid 60 bucks to look out onto a car park on our manky small balcony.
Towels - yuk. Grey, over used un-clean and looked as if they were over 10 years old. The kitchen - we tried not to set foot in it. It was the most repulsive kitchen with awful tiling and décor, complete with a 2 ringed ALL IN ONE oven / grill / hob which looked like an old microwave from a 1940s P.O.W. camp – it looked far too dangerous to use. The plug sockets over heated and were dangerous to use. We were told that the kitchens had been refurbished too, a big lie, I bet there wasn’t even a kitchen in this bombsite to begin with.
There is no satellite TV, just a few channels and one news channel in English. The TV itself was about 20yrs old and gave a fuzzy reception.
Air conditioning...a big no. We supposedly had but it was hardly what you would call working. A small whiff of cool air made it impossible to cool the apartment down; we had a fan we had to use which was very noisy. Night's sleep was terrible… we had very little sleep. We were told we would have a double bed, instead two worn old single beds pushed together and we believe the sheets weren’t cleaned all week, disgusting when you are sweating uncontrollably all night due to no air con.
The maid service wasn’t good either, it took them 4 days to clean the bathroom sink and the apartment was dirty and we felt unclean from the start. Incidentally if you do go to the toilet be prepared for 5mins of the most horrendous noise from the pipes afterwards.
We didn’t even go near the pool so we can’t comment on it. We spent as little time at the apartment as possible. Such a WASTE of money.
I would NEVER set foot in this place again, it's awful. A total con by the booking agent. Don’t waste your time. We are absolutely gutted we spent money in this hole.

Having just spent two weeks half-board in the Daphne Aparthotel complex we were pleasantly suprised in regard to previous comments about the hotel. Upon arrival the hotel looked quite pleasant however it was night-time. The room was basic although was adequate for two weeks, however the cooking utensils looked worn and in need of a replacement. Also the skirting board around the edge of the room was falling off in big chunks. Another gripe with the room was the fold out sofa bed, every night it would come lose from it's joints and we would have to push it back in. Towards the end of two weeks this was getting a rather tiresome affair. My husband then reported this and was told that they knew about it yet had had declined to do anything previously. The towells on offer also looked rather worn and grey.
The swimming pool was rather on the small side and was made worse by guest playing ball games. In parts it also looked quite unclean. However there was plently of space to sunbathe.
Overall the staff were very friendly and also was the manager.
Having been half board we were rather dissapointed with the food on offer, every night we were given a set menu with two choices for a starter, two for the main course and only one for desssert. This in itself got rather tiresome and we wondered why if we had paid previusly we could not have the choice of the whole menu. The food itself was not of a high standard and out of the two weeks we had about two nice meals.
The location of the hotel was excellent however although our view was off a car-park.
Overall the hotel was off a statisfactory standard however we would not be inclined to go there again. And if we did we definatley would not go half board.
However people should bear in paid they get for what they pay for.

Stayed at these apartments on a half board basis, from aug 24 to 31st. Had room 204, on opening of the door for the first time, I thought I had stepped into a council flat that was in need of a good lick of paint. The fittings in the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms need an urgent update. The aircon was loud and hardly chilling and the tv wasn't worth turning on. However an a good note the apartment was clean, with fresh bedding and towels everyday but thurs and sunday.
The pool water is clean but pool area is dangerous with sticking up poles near some sunbeds and damaged pool surround, however the kids loved the pool.
Breakfast was as standard. Evening meal was an adventure with 3 or more first courses brought to the table, but no starter or desert and no options.
The bar was dead on a night with no in house entertainment.
However with all the dead points we did enjoy our week but in the end were glad to leave, as the day time temperatures are unforgiving.
All in all if you are a sun worshipper who just want a well placed base then this place is ok, but go B&B and make your own lunch and go out for dinner.
