The Arrahona hotel is situated on the outskirts of Barcelona in Sabadell. The area is beautiful and gives you the opportunity to mingle with the locals and really get an idea of Spanish Life. During our stay, we visited many bars and taste the local cuisine at restaurants on the high street. We also was able to do a spot of shopping whilst we was there and was surprised to see some of the shops you find on the UK high street.
The Hotel is 4 stars and offers the option of breakfast in the morning. There is access to the Internet in the lounge and the staffs are friendly and fluent English speakers. The rooms are kept in an excellent state and offer a nice relaxed atmosphere for you to relax about either a night out or a day shopping.
Sabadell station is a close walk from the hotel and is approximately 20 - 30 minutes away from central Barcelona. This is ideal if you want to experience the different lifestyles. As it is not centrally located the room rates are cheap. This is a good location for those that are willing to travel and want to see what this city has to offer. This is a beautiful location and you will really enjoy it there.

Adequate accommodation for a long weekend. Staff are helpful, polite and English speaking.
However, Sabadell is an industrial area and the hotel is adjacent to a supermarket, a bus depot and a number of warehouse units, workshops and high rise apartments. 'Beautiful' it is not.
Sabadell Sud station is a 15 minute walk away downhill (bear in mind it takes slightly longer uphill from the station and not to be recommended carrying weekend bags for 2, nor with a wife wearing stiletto heels!) and central Barcelona is a 30 minute train journey.
This is not an ideal hotel if you wish to sample Barcelona's nightlife, since trains do not run on this route after midnight and the taxi fare would be exorbitant.
