Stayed here for the night before we were due to fly to Florida. We thought it seemed like a good idea that would allow us to have a longer sleep as the hotel is just across the road from the airport, rather than waking up at the crack of dawn to travel by car.
The hotel was very basic, but the price refelcted the quality - I mean for £50 we weren't expecting much.
The room was a fair size, and it did have a TV. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. The sheets on the bed were worn and thread bare in some parts.
Once we had eventually got comfy - which was slightly harder fir me as I was pregnant at the time - and fallen asleep we were woken by a group of VERY LOUD lads who were banging on the doors of the rooms surrounding us trying to wake their mates to tell them that they had to get up and go catch their flight - this process took about 30mins! Whilst I appreciate that this isnt anything to do with the hotel itself, when we did call to reception to see if there was anyting they could do they basically palmed us off. They obviously didnt want to get involved.
I guess the moral of the story is you get what you pay for :-)

The rooms were pretty basic and small. The bedding and towels were threadbare and bathroom outdated. The staff were very helpful. This room was 65 pounds and you get what you pay for. I have stayed at the Sofitel before and it is three times the price but the quality is al ot better.
We caught the bus to the terminal the next day. I found this a hindrance given that we had two pushchairs and heavy cases to get on and off the bus.
Next time I will pay the extra and go to the Sofitel. You can walk through the hotel and go straight to the Terminal.
