Baymont Inn & Suites

Stayed here for 10 nights this month. Just off International Drive in a very quiet area. Rooms, very clean and comfortable. We stayed in a 2 queen suite, which had a plasma tv on the wall, kitchenette area and microwave. Pool area nice and quiet as most people are out in the parks during the day. Weather was lovely for entire stay. Within walking distance of Walgreens and some great restaurants. Would definately stay again.

This is a nice place to stay. My biggest thing with hotels is outside noise and there was none of that! We didn't hear other people coming and going. The staff was friendly. We had a problem with our toilet running alot and the chain broke off. We told the front desk and they said someone had stopped by to fix it; however we were still having to deal with the problem. Room 324. This place was clean and close to everything on I-Drive. Would stay here again.

We spent 3 nights . The customer service agent behind the counter handled our reservation with no problems at all , we received our 2 room keys in a few minutes with no problems at all. He was professional. The reception area is nice and cosy. Our room was nice and supper clean, the bathroom was large enough and stocked with clean towels , was clothes , shampoo. The Baymont Inn & Suites... The struggle all began when we ordered TripTic through AAA, and it turns out that AAA had no listing of this hotel, (later we were informed that it was previously 'The Floridian') so I agreed to disagree with the AAA woman that the only Baymont Inn & Suites was in Kissimmee, Florida. So, it turns out that we were all twisted around in our rental car in Kissimmee, with reservations in the un-listed Baymont in Orlando. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. If we required extra washcloths, etc., the front desk was quick to accommodate. Pool was not large, but any time we went, it was not at all crowded, so it was fine. Pool area is landscaped beautifully. The continental breakfast provided a good variety and was kept well stocked. Ample parking. Quiet rooms. It's not the Ritz, but at these prices, you can't expect that. Stayed in this hotel for 6 nights. For people in a budget, this is a good hotel for them. The location was excellent, very close to restaurants and just 5 min. to Universal Orlando. The room we stayed at which is a junior suite is clean, spacious for 3 people. The staff is helpful. The hotel was renovated recently and you can tell that the carpet on the hallway is still new. My husband and I stayed here February 29th-March 3rd. We originally booked with Expedia and had a simple Queen room. We asked the hotel if we could upgrade to a Jr. Suite Queen so we could have the fridge/micro/etc. and they were happy to help and only charged $10 more per night. The hotel is in a great location and was easy access to everything. Lot's of food around and right off International Drive's main attractions. Stayed at the Baymont Inn & Suites for 2 nights. Check in was Ok. The room was Ok for the price. They offered free breakfast it was Ok. The coffee was Bad. They show they are members of the Trip Rewards on their website, but when I checked out and asked that I was given credit they told me they are not registed for this at this time. Yet they are giving the program guides at the Desk! I would stay here again if it was the cheapest room price available at the time.

The room was not as photographed. We were supposed to have 2 queen size beds, not 2 full size beds. There was no fridge or microwas as photographed. No vending machines in the whole building, but there was an ice machine on the first floor. That's about the only good thing I would say about the place. There were so many other choices where we could have stayed. We wanted to leave but had we, we would have lost that money we already paid thru Priceline. Would I recommend this place to anyone? Stayed her for two weeks in January, we had a fantastic time. The hotel is in a great location, lots of shops and eating places near by. I was really concerned after reading the previous reviews, and seeing the picture of the bug. The hotel is clean and modern, with friendly and helpfull staff. This hotel is a fabulous place to stay and really good value for money - We will be back!
