On arrival at the hotel reception we were told that each person (3 of us) had to pay 50 Euros’ each as a deposit, fair enough! But why wasn’t we told this before we booked our holiday from the Travel agent. Our room was on the top floor so we had to drag our cases all the way without any help of the staff. I had never ever been to a hotel in my life where I had to drag my own cases.
On arrival to our room, we found several broken light switches (worried about our deposit now) , broken plug sockets half hanging down, unwashed dinner plates + knives & forks, dead mosquitoes on the walls, a floor that looked like it never been mopped in ages and a toilet that had never seen bleach in its life!
We found out that the air-conditioning was an ‘extra’ at the cost of 25 euros per week (how stupid when it’s always 32 degrees + outside), you only receive 2 toilet tissue rolls free after that you purchase them yourselves.
There was constant dog barking coming from the neighbouring sides.
You only receive hot water after 6' o clock in the evening.
The towels are washed, but yet still come back to you with dirt marks on them and stinking of boiled water.
On departure day, you are expected to leave your room at 12pm, making it real hell for us especially our flight being at 7.30am in the morning. We had to slouch around in the lobby area with our luggage. If you want the room for the day it will be an extra 60 Euros’.
The Club 18-30 rep was just simply interested in taking money of you and couldn’t give a damn what you actually get for your money! We told him we will have to think about the things he has on offer for us and will get back to him regarding them, from then on he just used to walk pass us and didn’t even bother saying hello or anything.
The rest of the reps were marvellous -thumbs up to them!
The bar and pool outside was awesome, Pepe is a really friendly person, you cannot fault him.
Luckily the people we met have been great, cannot fault them in any sort of way!
The town isn’t too far, about a 10 minute walk.

This so-called hotel was the dirtiest, noisiest place; I have ever stayed in, disgusting!
The bed sheets weren’t changed in the week we were there, along with the one small towel you where given. This was a hotel, that’s a joke. You have to buy your own toilet roll?? Yes that’s right, a hotel that doesn’t supply toilet roll.
The staff were the rudest people I have had the misfortune to ever meet, we left the key in the room one day and were charged 2 euros to open the door... '' Its the law'' we where told. We complained to the 18-30's rep about all these issues along with the extremely dirty pool with inch thick scum around the rim, constant screams, shouts and very loud bangs that happen especially from 10pm-9am each day.
We where told that all hotels are the same, the rep wasn’t nice, at all, she promised to try to find us an alternative hotel, she then went missing for 3 days only then to come back and tell use that everywhere was full. How nice.
After 6 full days with very little sleep (we slept on the beach during the day) we decided to leave. We where then told that we couldn’t check out, can you believe that, yes, again we where told ‘‘it’s the law”.
We waited two hours in the reception area while the very smarmy man made several phone calls. We finally got our 50 euro deposit back and had to go and book into an other hotel which cost us around 200 euros each for the last week of our holiday.

We stayed at the Sakis Apartments and they were really basic! We spent most of our time over at the Dimis. Pepe is a true legend!! (check out his resemblence to WWE star Batista)!
We got into a routine, had a late breakfast, sunbathed, had dinner then got pissed!! Some great bars to look out for are Pink Panthers, The Irish Bar and the Medousa Bar. The clubs are brilliant. Rescue has 2 rooms, one for dance and one for cheese. The Plus Club staged Hed Kandi which was absolutely out of this world. We parties until 7am to Kandi Tunes it really was awesome.
Didn't go to the beach, due to lack of sleep - couldn't drag ourself to walk 25mins, but we still had time for a game of crazy golf! The food and drink is nice but not overly cheap. The airport is shocking, it's like cramming 500 people into you living room!
Overall Zante is a quality place to go. Enjoy yourself!!

I stayed at the must hotel which was just across the road from the Dimis, which then became practically our home the hotel is amazing you have 2 large pools and a great pool bar.
We arrived on 22nd June and we were introduced straight away to the hotel and spent every second there and if he’s feeling generous Pepe will put a free bar on from 1hr only 20euro if you can drink it is defiantly worth it.
Ever one in the hotel are very friendly accept George the receptionist guy be care full because after 1am in the morning George and his bus pals like to watch a little x rated movies and believe me after sitting for 5 hours waiting to be picked up to go home it can get very irritating.
So much that we asked him nicely to turn it of and he just laughed in our faces and told us if we didn’t want to watch it to go out side how rude after another our we all decided to turn the TV of and believe me this was not a good idea. Even the reps couldn’t get him to turn it of.
Also watch out if you try to creep in to the hotel when you’re not supposed to be there George and his lovely friends will find you and make you pay.
Other then that everything about the Dimis hotel is amazing. I want to be back there now. If you go to Dimis and see any of these reps Charmaine, Steph or frog tell the {stop been boring and get in pool} great laugh love you all.

My friend and I stayed in Dimis studios in June 2007, I had a fantastic holiday but the accommodation was very disappointing.
We arrived very early in the morning at reception to be 'greeted' by the receptionist who decided she would finish her cigarette before she checked us in, she didn't speak much English but the expression on her face came across very intimidating and she was very unhelpful.
Finally we got our room key to find that our room was on the top floor so we had to carry our heavy suitcases up three flights of stairs, as there is no lift. We entered our room where there was a disgusting smell of drains which was constant for the duration of our stay.
The cleaners did not come regularly and we were left with the same towels for 5 days, when eventually they did come they changed the bed sheets with what looked liked sheets that had already been slept in, I have taken a photo of what looks like snot which was on my 'clean' sheet.
One day I had dropped something behind the bed so I pulled it out to find a load of dead flies and insects that the cleaners did not sweep up with the rest of the floor.
Each night we would come home and would have to walk through reception, it clearly states that no loud music is to be played after 11 o'clock.
The hotel has a pool bar which I could not fault it is just a pity it belongs to the hotel.
Overall I would return to Zante but I would never recommend this hotel to anybody.

Absolutely brilliant holiday. I found all the reps brilliant especially Charmaine and Kayleigh.
Nightlife fabulous. Beach was lovely a good 20 minutes walk from Dimis though. Big it up to Pepe he is truly a ledge.
The reps give you plenty to do you will never get bored this place is well worth the visit.

The Dimis is a nice apartment block - remember that it is Greece so you cannot expect great things!
We arrived in the middle of the night and was lovely and quiet. Got Woken up at 9am to go for our 18-30 meeting and was told what you could do.
After the meeting you either went and saw a rep to buy tickets or you didn't... they didn't bother you anymore through the week... however we were staying the last few weeks of the season so got most of it free!
Pool bar is great... Pepe is really nice and the reps were generally good.
The Room was a 1bed apartment and three of us had the spoil of 6 beds that we had been given! The bathroom however I didn’t rate at all... No bath and the shower was tiny... but again was ok for Greece... Everything was clean in the room and everything worked ok.
The walk into the nightlife is about 15 mins which is ok but I would defo get a taxi back... not only will your feet hurt but its rather scary walking up a road with no lighting and cars buzzing past, argh!!
A lot of people from our place went to the Olympic apartments which were down the road as the pool was rather nice... ours was but the bottom looked stained and the jacuzzi made everyone cough when you went near it when the jets were on (fumes).
The beach is nice and the little island which when you get to the beach is a long walk to the right is fab... there is a tiny little bar and a private beach on this island however put your trainers on its a hike but worth it!
All the bars were cool but the only thing that spoilt the nightlife was the little gypsies! Watch them as they will try and nab you of your money! My Boyfriend had a new top on one night and one of them came upto him and put marker pen all over! They try and sell you glow in the dark things and silly hats but whatever you do don’t get your money out your pocket as they will grab what they can out your hand!
The Trip from the airport was good but coming home is horrible! make sure that if you want a snack in the airport you take something with you... there is one little shop in an airport the size of a shoe... you queue outside under shelters for about half an hour then again inside... you put your own bags through a scanner and then queue again for check in... then you queue for immigration and then you go into a small room packed full of people sitting all over the floor in the tiny departure lounge... AWFUL!
Zante is great but the little things do add up... would defo go back as its lovely I would choose Dimis again only if it was closer! Use the taxis there only 5euros and you can always scrape it together after a night out.

Hey we are 5 girlies from Dundee who were staying in the Dimis Studios in August! We all had a great time and would recommend it to anyone! Pepe's pool bar was great for food and drink and we had our Harry eng's there every day and wasn’t just in the morning, ha ha!
The apartments were very basic but were comfortable to stay in, especially when you’re only coming in at 8am. Music is played by the pool all day, so it gets you in the mood for going out at night.
The nightlife was brilliant, we went to one place called Cherry Bay every night, or cherry pop as we called it. Plays the most cheesy music ever but its so much fun. Would recommend Zante to anyone.

The Dimis is great and I can’t understand how anyone can hate it.
The only problem with this hotel is clogging up the street in heels (all you girlies) as the walk is long and I'd recommend you get a taxi.
Pepe's pool bar is wicked for snacks and evening meals and his wife works with him, and his children generally splash around in the pool. Matt doesn’t work there anymore but all the 'Laganas' workers seem to visit the Dimis, because of the 2 pools and Pepe's pool bar showing footy on big flat screen TV’s.
I recommend this hotel unless your light sleepers don’t go there!

I had an amazing time didn’t want to come home!
Dimis hotel is one the best hotels even though its further down the strip than most everyone seems to come there even the workers!
The pool bar is run by a guy called Pepe he’s so big but he’s a sweetheart. then you got Matt who works there too, watch out girls he’s a bit of a ladies man!
The reps were fantastic always having a laugh apart from when a certain person was sleeping (p.j)!
The rooms were quite big with excellent bathroom facilities compared with the other hotel bathrooms we saw!
Laganas is great stay at Dimis its fab!!!!

The staff at this hotel were not helpful. Laganas was dirty and expensive and put the uk to shame with the behaviour of our visitors.
The reps were only interested in selling trips tours etc which you could find down the road for cheaper. The food and drinks were more expensive than previous resorts and every restaurant had someone outside pestering you to eat in their restaurant. Which became very annoying.
There were also many young children selling flower, hats and any old tat they could to tourists. I did not enjoy this holiday and would not recommend it to anyone.

Brilliant holiday. Reps were great. We had an apartment on the ground floor; it was basic but clean and we had a nice view of the pool.
Pepe’s pool bar was great and the hotel staff were nice. The only downside was the distance of the hotel from the main strip and beach, about a 25 minute walk. But other than that it was an amazing holiday.
