Thai hotel was the worst hotel ive ever stayed in, The hotel was disgusting, The maid didnt do anything...Just walked into the room and walked back out when she realised that we were all still in bed...Had to ask for clean towels on the last day the bed sheets were not clean the whole time we were there....we had booked 3 rooms and only got 2, So there was 5 girls in one room, Which was not what we had paid for, They told us it wasnt there problem and that they gave our room away becos we was delayed....NOT only that it was 2euro for a packet of hula hoops and when I smashed a glass by accident he charged me 3euro, and told me he wasnt cleaning it up becos he wasnt a clear, Good health and safety skills there!!!!!

I visited Dimis Aparthotel, Laganas, Zante.
If your after a cheap hotel 700 yards from the beach, on the main strip and if you dont mind having dirty toliets, no clean bed sheets and towels for 2,3 maybe 4 days at a time and have very rude hotel staff then this is the place for you....we found the hotel very poor.
All hotel rooms come with a pool view and if you like dance music from 10am til 12midnight blasting from the pool bar then you will be in your element.
If you like your sleep then i suggest you dont stop here..people coming back from nights out at 5-6am booting down doors, banging, argueing, general poor behaviour and the hotel wouldnt do anything about it...i sound like and old man but im 26 i couldnt handle it...
Dispite all this me and my girlfriend had an amazing time with local resturants, and bars offering some great deals with food and drink...if the hotel could sort themselves out i would have give this a 10 out of 10.....

Hotel was nice as was all its staff. Beds were changed twice on our week stay and we got fresh towels and toilet roll then too. Bins were emptied every day. However was woken two nights to some of the other hotel occupants beating the lard out of one another which went on for a couple of hours. No security in hotel at all. Great if you want to have guests over, not so great if you want any form of sleep! We paid 150euro each for the self catering room, 2 sharing, and to be honest it wasn't worth a whole lot more. Its on the main strip but still expect a 15-20min walk to the main bars and restauraunts. Having that said their are a lot of hotels a lot further out and one taxi to anywhere in Laganas costs 9euro.

Can't really say much more than the review before, the 9/10 rating is more for the holiday rather than the hotel like but we were on a lads holiday and wasn't expecting anything but what we got. A little bit basic and we were a group of 8 only sharing two rooms between us, but that only made it more of a laugh so we didn't mind.
Gotta ask for a pepe's special to have by the side of the pool thats a must!
Wouldn't wanna push u away from pepe's but there was a decent 4 euro full english next door at perkes as well, and theres a little supermarket right next to the hotel for whatever you need which was convenient.....just a shame i didn't notice it until the last day!
Was funny that everyone seemed 2 get back at the same time, we were on the bottom floor so we'd just sit on the balcony near the pool and chat to everyone on their way in from a night out all the time, ours was room 6.
Night time security guard was a bit of a crank, but to be honest he doesn't do anything anyway, he just asks u to be quiet and walks away.
Not sure whether the beach walk was 15 minutes, but maybe we were just slow walkers :)
I'd definately go back anyway, after all its only a bed to sleep in, and you don't even do much of that while your over there!
Overall, absolutely brilliant holiday. I recommend anyone to go there!

This was the best holiday ever.
We got moved hotels a week before departure and after reading the reviews for this hotel we tried everything to move again but it wasnt possible.
When we first arrived it was full of large groups and quite busy.
We arrived in our rooms which were basic and small. 3 people per room, with a kitchen that had no equiptment. Not even a kettle.The maid came in once a day but only seemed to change bedding when prompted or every 3 days otherwise. We regulalry had to ask for clean towels aswel. Lots of things went missing in our apartment while we was there so be careful about belongings as there is a safe but it is in reception and some people dont like this. These were our only complains.
The hotel was great. The pools were large and clean and you could practically do whatever you wanted. Pepe's was good, a good place to drink before going onto the strip and it also served food all day and all night. The location of the hotel was great, It was a straight walk up the road of the strip and was not down and long dark roads like most of the other hotels. Taxi's everywhere are €6 so it doesnt matter where you are really. The walk is about 15 minutes with the beach at the end of the strip.
When you get in at night you are told not to jump in the pool and not to go screaming around. When we was there, the hotel was full with big groups. No one seemed to go to bed, or even to there room. Everyone just walked around the hotel and sat outside until day light. If you are looking for a hotel for a group and want a real party this is the place for you. Some may call it but the only real problem are the rooms. This holiday was superb and all of us would go back. Zante is a beautiful island and well worth the money spent.

Stayed in the Dimis Studios for a week from 14th June 07, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone going on a family holiday or for a romantic getaway, rooms are really basic, beds aren't too comfortable but everything is at a clean standard, the only thing I noticed the maids do is change the towels in the bathroom. But as I went on a girls 18-30 holiday we weren't bothered by this at all, bars/clubs are about 10-15 minutes away (bit of a dangerous walk at night as there is no sidewalk) Pepe's Pool Bar is the best thing about the hotel, whilst we sunbathed and bought drinks from the bar all the best dance/chill out tunes were blasted out from a huge sound system which was brilliant!
Food from Pepe's Pool Bar was lovely, no complaints! And same for the cocktails!
I have to say the worst thing about the holiday would be the reps, I felt constantly pressured and got a feeling that all they cared about is getting money out of you and if they are unsuccessful at it they just kind of ignore you from then on! at the beginning of the holiday you can choose excursions to go on during the week which is really good although one of ours got mixed up and they didnt put our names down so we couldnt go and didnt get our money back for it!
I'd highly recommend this hotel for a girls or lads holiday, its really close to the nightlife which is AMAZING!

Anyone who goes to Laganas should be going for a boys / girls holiday. Spending most of their time out on the strip, a few hours in bed and the rest by the pool/beach.
For that, this hotel is perfect, Pepe at the bar is nice, well positioned at the top of the strip (away from too much noise). and it has a nice pool area.
However, if i were to have taken my girlfriend there i would be writing a very nasty letter now. They didn't clean the room once (we didnt care). They didn't change the sheets once (we didn't care). The hotel staff were pretty rude (again, we didn't care).
Basically, if you're going here for a hardcore drinking session with youre mates, you will have a cracking time!
If you're going here as a couple or a family, change your holiday or don't bother going to the airport because it will be like a week in hell!
For us though, 10/10! Cracking laugh!

The room we got wasn't even part of the hotel, it was a hut to the side of it. the electric kept cutting off, we got half a toilet rol between 2 lads! and we were there for a week and only got our sheets changed once and there spiders everywhere. Air con price was decent at only 7 euro's a night, but the guy behind reception is the moddiest person ever!This place was a joke, through the day it's a laugh and the only reason that the place was half decent was pepe's bar. The nightman's annoying aswell. The hotel is near the main strip maybe a 10-15 min walk from the centre. Watch out for kids on the streets because they are good at pick pocketing.

no complaints realy 4 the dimis studios.ya cnt exactly go expecting a 4 star hotel.only problem was, was ther was no spare toilet rolls bt this added to the experience!
pepes bar was ideal,with pepe being an absolute legend!could always rely on getting food and drinks frm pepes bar at most tyms.nightlife was spot on with a mixture of clubs with various music being played.
beaches were spot on with plenty ov watersports 2 av a go at aswell!plenty ov activities to do in the day, such as footy tournaments and carazy golf courses aswell as go karting or just a bit ov shopping!
plenty ov quadbikes 2 ride about on aswell if ya dnt fancy a stroll!
would recomend zante 4 big group and dimis studios as a place to stop

Very poor, dirty sheets when we arrived at 4 in the morning, went to sleep with the sound of rats in the ceiling. No toilet rolls when we arrived not enough towels either not advising use that there was a 50 euro deposit each when we had a limited budget 300 euros. Pepes pool bar was the best bit about the hotel.
