This is the nastiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Please trust me that I am not picky and we had a great holiday - outside of the Avlida - but please do not go here and expect anything better than a 2 star hotel. The hotel is falling apart, smells like dead animals, it seems like the staff has been sold into slavery they are so miserable to be working, and the hotel does everything it can to NOT give you a drink or food. Gross gross gross.
We were all-inclusive and did not eat a single dinner meal at this place and swam in the pool only once - it is disgusting. If you are looking to just have fun in Paphos and have a nasty place to crash after drinking - ok - but if you are looking for a nice holiday at your hotel, DO NOT GO HERE.

Ok if you want to have a holiday from hell or want an ear infection from the pool because of lack of cleaning.
Hide your all inclusive bracelet if you want to get served, half board get priority (paying customers) you will get sent to back of queue.
Waiters drip sweat over your food when they bring it to you, you may be lucky to get a clean plate then you have to ask for cutlery.
You will not get food after 9:30pm, usually other all inclusive hotels have food until 12pm or is that just 3star hotels?

Myself and my boyfriend visited this hotel in July 2005, I thought because we went all inclusive we weren’t priority. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to young couples. The location was ok though. Food was very repetitive.
Pool was good. Rooms are rubbish! And its only just turned into a 4 star hotel as it was a 3 star. It changed into a 4 star because of the new pool and reception area. Definitely not a 4 star hotel! I recommend a hotel near the centre of Paphos......saves getting taxis every night. Nice resort.

Hotel rooms are very dated and require updating. Smells fusty away from main areas, due to carpeting and upholstery. All main areas good, swimming pool area lovely. Situated away from hustle of tomb of the kings road, so very quiet. No entertainment/activities through the day. In the evening a very poor male singer on 2/3 nights. Staff at reception very good, but staff in the restaurant, especially drinks waiter service, very poor. Drinks orders taken, eventually, and by the time they arrive you have finished your meal. Not very friendly. Waitress staff try to smile and be friendly but few and far between. Pool staff poor, and again not very friendly. Food not bad in general, but not very Greek. Or varied. Feel it is more likely a 2/3 star, certainly not what you would expect a 4 star to be. Overall view poor. disappointing accommodation.

Had better b/b in Blackpool, UK.
Room a mess had to clean toilet on arrival. Room small with a lovely view of a lap dancing bar!. Air con very inadequate.
Staff mostly east block and very rude. Rep Jan was basically ok .
Food warmed up leftovers from previous day and like feeding pigs in a trough. Charge for tea/coffee £3.00 cyp a day. FOR A KETTLE IN YOUR ROOM!!!!.
If booking trips out do it yourself and save lots of money.
Top Pub - Yaimas bar.... the best service, food, drinks. Say Hello to Kasimir and Hassan, both top waiters and cocktail makers.
WATCH OUT FOR TIMESHARE TOUTS. THEY LIE!!!!!!!!!!

My wife and I spent 2 weeks on the all inclusive option, we found that the our room was acceptable, but in general lacked the 4star service, i.e. lack of soaps, bath foams and shampoos, these items had to be asked for.... not a major complaint. Hotel in general, a definite lack of maintenance and a little tired.
Food, we were more than happy with, a good choice every evening to suit all tastes. Midday meals again of the buffet variety very similar to what was served the previous evening ?..... becoming a veteran to the midday meals we opted to take lunch after 2.30pm and go for the all inclusive bar snack menu we felt that this was the safer option. my wife would recommend the Chefs salad.
Swimming pool I thought was very good, well maintained, I did witness the pool being cleaned every morning.
Bar service, was average but in our opinion we felt that this was due to the staff being grossly over worked and being watched over and hounded by the owner of the hotel.
When the owner wasn’t on site there was a more relaxed feeling and the bar staff were more attentive.
