Hotel Description:

Ballantrae hotel is located in the heart of the city centre. Only two minutes walk from princes street and five minutes from the waverley station. The hotel is a late georgian regency style building with original, and ornamental features. The ballantrae was built in the 1830s and has a warm modern ambience with a friendly atmosphere. Ideal for shopping, entertainment and it is walking distance to most major tourist attractions. This property was built in 1830 renovated in 1999.

Apartment is huge, very clean and with all utilities that are needed. Bath robes supplied. No lift - but top floor is only a few floors.
Daily maid service with clean towels daily. Breakfast in their hotel next door was very good.

The perfect location for a short break at anytime of the year. We stayed here just before Christmas and it was a wonderful three days in Edinburgh.
