" Booked the Chalet Delores through... "

Booked the Chalet Delores through Igluski and Crystal for the week prior to Xmas. Thought that anyone going to the Chalet should know that it is a little cramped - certainly if it is at max capacity of 11 persons. The double and triple rooms upstaris share a WC and shower. Unfortunately you are in full view of the lounge as you step from your room. Some of the beds require new springs as they sag to make sleeping particularly difficult. Chalet could also do with a TV/DVD/Video for evening entertainment.
Apart from that the Chalet is fine. Rob the 'house-person' is fab. His cooking is excellent.
Ski from the door is certainly possible but returning in the evening requires a 10 minute trek up the hill.
Would I go back? If I could guarantee snow and weather conditions to be as good I would return next week. Happy skiing!

The dining table is in the kitchen and is large enough for the guests, but too large for the kitchen, as it is a squeeze to get into.
Food is excellent as is the free 'unlimited' french wine given with each meal. A good atmosphere and rappour was rapidly built up with the other guests and my wife and I enjoyed our stay there. All in all - a very good deal for what was offered - 4 star food. Breakfast was the usual alpine cereals, yoghurts, bread and jam. And every morning the chalet host cooked a cooked breakfast of 3 hot items from the usual bacon, egg, mushrooms, hash browns and so on. Dinner was 3 splendid courses served at 7:30 pm.
Advice: A great ski location - in a purpose built resort
