Landhaus Zum Appesbach Hotel, St Wolfgang
The “Hotel Landhaus Zum Appesbach” was originally a private country house and still retains much of its grand atmosphere and character. The hotel is a great choice for a peaceful and relaxing holiday.

One of the loveliest country hotels in Austria. The hotel is situated a on a beautiful property overlooking the Wolfgangsee.
The rooms are spacious and the junior suites are a real value. The restaurant while not rated is worth a Michelin Star. The staff is fabulous especially, the manager, Max Eidelhuber.
Max is the consummate host and his knowledge of the area along with his terrible weather predictions make this hotel a sheer delight to stay at for a few days or more.
When the weather permits, there are evening activities such as hay rides and private boat tours of the lake with refreshments served. I have stayed at the Zum Appesbach 5 times in the last 11 years and it just keeps getting better.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Appesbach Hotel for our honeymoon the atmosphere is a friendly one the rooms were superb beyond our imaginations staff always willing to help.
We were struck by the beauty of the house, which is the best way to describe this hotel, and the immediate warmth of the staff. We definitely recommend a stay here, the lake is very nice to bathe in or you can use one of their row boats to see the lake from a different angle. We chose to use their bikes to explore the town and surrounding areas.
The meals were always spectacular and served to a high standard, and even though we didn't use it there is a sauna available. Our room was on the first floor of the main house, the room was extremely neat and our first impression was of space and light, the view from our balcony was amazing.
We spent most of our time in the hotel and surrounding grounds and are planning our next trip back there.
