This place looks idyllic BUT be aware that although the pictures look as if it is in the middle of idyllic Tuscan countryside it is actually on a main road used by quarry lorries and rooms on the roadside are noisy as a result.

Food is of good quality but there is curiously NO CHOICE on the full board menu which we found very disappointing and to be honest unacceptable. There was no information in our room on arrival, even on what to do in case of emergency. The instructions on how to find the place were also very bad.

The hotel itself and the grounds are finished with great attention to detail and everything is aesthetically pleasing and clean and worthy of the high cost of staying here. What lets it down totally is haphazard management which left a lot of guests during our stay feeling somewhat dissatisfied.
