Two Brothers Studios

Me and my fiance have just got back from a week staying at the two brothers and wished we never,we have stayed in,two star which is better, it should be a one star rating. Where do I start the rep was not friendly and was not helpfull on trips etc ,there was only one member of staff that spoke engish but very unfriendly just did not make you feel welcome at all,food was ok,are room was very basic and was cleaned daily,the bathroom always looked dirty,we had to move to another room on last day there as you have to be out of your room at midday and we were not being picked up until 3 o'clock the next morning,there is no where to leave your suit cases and no curtisy room to shower so we paid 30 euros for a dirty room,hair and dirt all over the floor springs sticking out of the matress so could not sleep and had to keep shoes on at all times. We got woken up every morning by cockerels at dawn followed by dogs barking and on sunday morning on top of dogs and cockals we had bells going for an hour followed by greek singing on loud speakers like musims praying but wanted everyone to here and that went on for an hour an a half .The pool looked murky,they tried to clean it but as did not have a proper filter system they had to pour chemicals into the pool instead. We were charged by the two brothers £30 euro,s on the day we arrived for air conditioning only to find out by others staying at two brothers that if we went through the rep we would have only been charged £15 euro,s a week. but she did not even asked or talked about air-conditioning. There is also a taxi strike so you are stuck in Kalamaki. this has been going on two weeks and considering we book the holiday the week before our tour operator should have told us about the taxi strike.

we stayed at two Brothers from the 3rd july 11 with my partner daughter and her two friends, we got a late deal, the room was cleaned daily. food was good and ive never seen a pool cleaned out so much. ive always stayed in 5STAR normally and this felt like that for appartments, Thee two brothers was so polite and was always on hand, We met some wondeful people there. i would reccomend the two brothers and would go back there.

Was a little concerned after reading some of the reviews. My fiend and I had a great holiday staying at the Two Brothers. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms basic, but the norm for Greece, cleaned daily and linen changed once a week, again typical for greece. Great food throughout the resort, our favourite was the famous mermaid, excellent food and good value. Book your trips with Pat on the strip and you will save a good bit of money, she is very helpful. Take the free bus to Banana beach for the day. The only dissapointment was the plane, very tatty and old and had technical faults which caused a delay of two hours, yes it was sky wings again. All in all a great cheap holiday at £160 each.

hi me and hubby just back from a week at two brothers firstly dont let the comments put you off, its basic but so is most of greece, the place s nice every one friendly plenty going on ie quiz bbq etc my only bad comment would be if you are given room 72 try to get moved it is the darkest room you needed a light on in day no patio as such, one window in kitchen that had bars outside it apat from that all good i would go back but not in room 72

June 2011.Well what can i say? we all do it, book the holiday and then read the reviews! After reading the reviews we actually went to change but the cost was to high so decided to just go and make the most of it! so glad we didnt change.After a 4 hour delay and with the two hour time difference we arrived at the Two Brothers at 10pm, we were met by the brothers who welcolmed us and showed us to our rooms carrying our cases. The one brother is quiet but cant do enough for you. The rooms were as said on here typical Greek and basic, but cleaned every day and the maids were lovely. Yes the dogs did bark but you hardly heard them. If you have read the previous reviews please dont worry my advise is go and enjoy. It has been a long time since we went to Greece and was amazed how much food, drink etc has increased in price, but obviously if you have recently been you will be prepared. We spnet a little more than expected, but didnt complain as we had a great time. The Mermaid bar is a lovley place to have a meal and they are all very welcoming had some great nights there. The beach is a distance and my advise is not to go when it is hot as the sand actually burns your feet!!! all in all a great holiday and the Brothers and their family are lovely !!!!!!

Two brothers was one of the best holidays I've ever had! I went on holiday with my boyfriend here for one week we booked 5 weeks before we went absolutely amazing price and deal. For what you pay you really cannot complain! Before we went here I was extremely worried because of some of the reviews we'd seen but I can honestly say the reviews do not do this place justice! Rooms were clean, cleaners cam in everyday I was there and tidied up, linen was cleaned whilst we were there, poolside and hotel was cleaned regularly, rooms were basic but you will find Greek hotel are basic and simple thats the culture but we adapted, As for the dogs barking comment we saw on here, we heard the dogs once whilst we were on holiday here that is it! The main kalamaki strip which has bars, resteraunts, shops is only a 5 minute walk away. The beach is only a ten minute walk also! My partner and I will definately be coming back next year. The brothers were very friendly and helped as much as they could. I get a bit upset when I see reviews that just do not do this hotel justice when it was brilliant!

My boyfriend and I booked a last minute holiday, and after reading reviews on here, we were slightly worried about where we would be staying. For the price, it is ideal. Room was good size and cleaned everyday, but who wants to spend hours in the room when you're on holiday, pool was excellent, always plenty of sunbeds & the sun is on the pool from about 7am till sunset (9pm?). ideally located for restaurants and bars, but far enough away from laganas we didnt hear of/see any trouble!
Book all day trips with pat; an english lady on the main strip. we saved probably 50euro by booking with her rather than with the reps. would definitely recommend the shipwreck boat trip, especially if you like snorkelling, it was incredible.
only minor problem we had was showering, the water temperature was hit and miss, although this was probably due to everyone going in from the pool to shower at the same time,
would definitely recommend this place to friends and family if you want a cheap, relaxed week or two away.
recommend olive tree for some amazing food!!!! and the cave bar at the end of the strip.
but try not to fly with skywings!!!!!! they are awful and the plane was falling apart literally, hence being delayed for hours due to technical faults with the plane. steer clear of them!

I have just returned from a week staying at the two brothers with my 15 year old daughter and her father. the rooms where cleaned daily, bedding changed mid week, pool and puplic areas clean. The two brothers where really freindly, helpful and went out off there way to help when my daughter was ill. They let me in my room when i locked myself out, they where very helpful. The meals where lovely and resonably priced and always hot and fresh. A lovely place to stay, the kitchen area is small but has all basic equipement if you wish to make something to eat, although the greek food is so nice i never cook. A good base for a lovely holiday to Zante.

having booked a late deal to the two brothers i was slightly concerned after reading the reviews on here,i went with a friend and we were both pleased with what we saw. wasnt posh, very basic but had everything we needed for our weeks stay, it was clean, tidy, relaxed. rooms cleaned every day, bedding and towels changed once a week. swimming pool was spotless, along with pool area and bar. location was fantastic,just a two min walk from main street, 15 mins to beach. for £160 for one weeks stay, we couldnt fault it, would go back again .

Well £360 for two of us, for 2 weeks, simply good value! You get what you pay for the rooms basic, the maids simply lovely ladies! Do clean the rooms well, but the floor get's absolutely filthy quick. But they do attend to that daily. The pool was very nice and so are the restaurants and shops on the strip.
However due to the times full of 18-23 year olds, all coming back from the clubs at 4am. Smashing doors shouting going in the pool but that is just due to the people. One of the brothers, (owner) could come across as arrogant but generally a nice guy. If you are staying on a sunday, do be aware of the local religious building, VERY LOUD on microphones great wake up in the morning! no need for an alarm. Saw the locals on the way to the strip in the morning and just a smile and you get a smile back and they then wave.
I'm not exactly the best person to say an opinion on hotels age 16 been to over 40 hotels in my life time none under 4 star till this one. But honestly if you get a cheap holiday and don't mind spending another at least £1500 on food alone for two weeks for two people then that's fine. Also a long way well 20 minute roughly walk to the beach.
However if your intentions are to go clubbing get a hotel in LAGANAS not Kalamaki, as the taxi drivers do charge a lot and it's better to go to Laganas for the extra price. Been to Laganas in a hotel before and it really is for the clubbing people and Kalamaki for the more relaxing type. Another thing about the Clubbing, a real must at a good rate would be Club Rescue, simply amazing!
I personally had a really good holiday very dramatic events with the clubbers but other than that very good stay.
