Established in 1875 as a restaurant by one of the founders of an Italian hotel dynasty, the Bettoja Family, who later made it onto one of the most renowned hotels of Rome. Today this hotel is the ‘Mother House’ of the Bettoja Chain. Its facade is one of the most elegant Neoclassical structures in the area. Facilities also include a breakfast room and wine cellar. Walking distance from the Opera House and 10 minutes from Via Veneto.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. English TV limited to MTV, which was sufficient to have on whilst getting ready to go out! Towels were changed everyday. About 20-30 mins walk from the Colosseum, however the noise from the traffic... read more
