Both myself and my sister stayed in the Unirea Hotel in Iasi for 3 nights during June 2008.
We both found the Hotel to a high standard with the rooms spacious and incredibly clean.
Breakfast was plentiful and with a good international choice.
Staff were both helpful and polite.
We would without doubt recommend the Unirea Hotel to anyone visiting this beautiful city in Iasi, Romania.

Iasi is a very old city site of learning since the 1700s. It is a mixture of very old and modern buildings and architecture with a fine palace of culture and many very ornate churches.
It boasts no less than five universities and three monasteries, there are parks where you can spend a great deal of time. The people are very friendly the hotel was first class and the staff friendly and willing.
The room was modern with en-suite facilities and connection to the internet was free. Eating out was not a problem ranging from local and traditional to Chinese, Italian, pizza bars and take-aways. For a first visit I was highly impressed and will return very soon.
