This place is a gem as a small hotel, boutique in nature, with amazing views and fantastic food. I want to go back next year!
We had the private pool room where we had a sizeable private terrace and swimming pool, not just a plunge pool but a real swimming pool! Flat screen TV, DVD, etc, sofa and chairs for relaxing, French doors that overlook the sea and open out onto the terrace. The bathroom was great -- an aquarium between the bedroom and bathroom and a Turkish Haman, and fantastic shower too.
The thing that sets this place apart is an amazing infinity pool overlooking the wonderful bay and amazing service. The hotel manager waits on you hand and foot and serves lunches to you wherever you want them, on any terrace. He is a real gem and made the place special! The chef is also fantastic and it's a set meal each night for everyone but they will accommodate any food issues. We were all asking for the recipe book!
I recommend this place for a relaxing romantic week away. Candle light everywhere and great service. Also recommend doing some of the excursions like seeing the ancient sites as they are great to see and being able to go there helps to set apart a usual beach holiday.
The only thing is that the beach there isn't great, but with the pools, who cares? We never went down to the beach to swim but just enjoyed the views.
So, 10/10 for food, service, rooms, views, romance.
6/10 for XL airways to get there.
Basically, you have to get there! June or Sept/Oct best. July and Aug too hot.

Excellent for a romantic getaway. 5 star service and 5 star rooms.
A stone’s throw from the beautiful beach, but the pool area is so nice you may end up bathing there all day long in a hammock.
Food was first class.
The rooms are all different themes; the bathroom had a steam room, fluffy towels, and robes with slippers, your own patio with chase lounge and private dining area.
Loved it!

The Oyster Residences is a jewel of a hotel, standing out amongst all of the other hotels in Olu Deniz. The hotel has only 24 rooms set around a swimming pool with olive trees providing some shade. The owner, Gunsenin, we found out is a textile designer and so each of the rooms has a different colour and design - the rooms are essentially the same with white walls and floors and wooden furniture, but the curtains, lights and bedspreads all differ - ours was a pale gold/cream colour which was very calming.
Most of the rooms did not have balconies, only "French style" balconies to let the air in, but those on the ground floor had terraces which have tables and chairs to sit out on - we had a look and were told that these also have a steam shower which sits two! We'd definitely try to get one of these next time.
There is a small pool in the centre of the rooms, but the decking area around it was plenty big enough for the number of rooms, and there are also a couple of peaceful 'relaxing' areas with big cushions and mattresses which are great for reading in the shade.
Breakfast was quite simple but still more extensive than we've had at other small hotels in the area, and they also serve lunches and dinners, although we didn't try anything here. We did have the lovely fresh strawberry milkshakes though!
The atmosphere within the hotel was really relaxed, there is no music around the pool, so it was great for just lying about reading and really unwinding. The hotel is also just across the promenade from the beach, and in the centre of the resort, so just a short walk from bars and restaurants.
All in all, a wonderful peaceful holiday, surrounded by friendly helpful people, with a lovely setting and a beautiful hotel - we hope to go back!
