Kempinski Hotel The Dome

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for a week. We just wanted to relax in the sun and read a lot of books. The hotel is good, very big and clean. The swimming pool is huge and the gym well equiped. There is a big spa-area where you can get lots of different treatments. However there are some disadvantages. There are several restaurants in the hotel, but they are not open every day. So there is limited choice of where to eat. This review is a little late – but better late than never… We stayed at Kempinski Dome in Belek in Aug 07. It was so hot in August… when people say it’s hot there believe them! =) When researching what hotel to stay at there was not allot of info on this particular hotel but being familiar with the name we decided to book it. I stayed in this Kempinski property for 2 weeks in May; I had an overall pleasant stay, but I encountered some problems: -AC did not work properly in all the rooms. It suddenly stops functioning, and stays off for 2-3 hours, which means that the temperature can rise up to 30 degrees C. If this happens during the night, it becomes impossible to sleep. -the staff has almost no knowledge of english, and most of the time they just speak a bit of german or russian (in addition to turkish). We had 1 week in Kempinski Hotel the Dome. I can easily say that we had wunderful time. The hotel two kind of accomodation. The villas and the hotel itself. The villas are by the golf area and relatively isolated and are very quiet. What is suprising is the necessity to come to the hotel for taking breakfast as in the villas you pay "extra" for having your the breakfast!
