splendid beach hotel on a slope by mundus
8 / 10

It is a splendid beach hotel on the slopes of the Bodrum peninsula. It is 2 km to the nearest village of Yaliciftlik and about 15 km from Bodrum city. Twice daily there is a complementary hotel shuttle to Bodrum city (at 11am and 6 pm) and there is an hourly dolmus, in the evening every half an hour.

We arrived from the island of Kos. The taxi ride costs about 40 TL. All rooms offer a panoramic view of the bay. The furniture is a mix of styles in a variety of wood. Besides the huge outdoors pool, the (6 Senses) spa also has a heated indoor pool. Service is impeccable and friendly without exception. Breakfast is served on two large outdoor terraces or indoors. It offers a full choice of breads, pastries, fruits, cheeses, cold meats and fish (salmon, trout), freshly cooked pancakes and eggs. An a la carte gastronomic dinner is served in the Olives restaurant. The wide private beach can be reached by elevator or a club cart can drive you there. There is no better hotel in Bodrum except when someone explicitly prefers to stay in the crowded, noisy area of Gümbet.

Perfect all around! by LATraveler17

After a disappointing night at a small hotel in Bodrum, we moved to the Kempinski. This move saved our trip. The Kempinski is new, staff is exceptionally helpful, rooms are big, comfortable and quiet and the views can't be beat. The hotel has several restaurants, a great spa and several pools. Romantic 5-star hotel with fair rates. Highly recommended.

Best Bodrum Hotel by mitcher72

The new 5-star super deluxed Kempinski Bay Hotel are located in Yalıciftlik. We went to this place by boat which we rented from Bodrum center. Its a great sight to see the hotel from the sea. We rented the boat to cruise a round, but ended up staying at the bay hotel all day. They have great food and a fantastic beach. When we were there the hotel was just openend.

Beautiful Hotel by ninasch1976
8 / 10

We stayed in this beautiful hotel this years easter holiday. The other remarks concerning the remoteness are true, there is really nothing much to do around this hotel, within walking distance there is no bar, restaurant etc.But a dolmus drives to Bodrum quite frequently from near the hotel and it takes 20 minutes. We found the area of the hotel really great, no noise, amazingly green, superb views of the island around.

The hotel is quite small, only 140 rooms, and there is alot of space for this amount of people, a nice beach, nice platfroms over the cristal clear water, a huge swimming pool, a really tastefully decorated chill out lounge at the pool within a tropical garden, fruits are always availabe everywhere.

Rooms are spacious, nicely and luxuriously decorated with flat screen, good beds, very nice balconys with amazing sea view.

Breakfast is good, but compared to other hotels of that category(four seasons...) average.

They have a six senses spa which is great, spacious and the staff are so helpful and well trained, really a nice treat one can have. prices are quite high though, for example 100 euro for 80 minutes hot stone therapy.

If you are looking for appartments and want to cater yourself consider the Residences that are next to the hotel, they are 200 sqm with 2-3 bedrooms, very nice option for families plus you can use all of the hotels facilities.

We had a really nice long weekend in that hotel and will certainly go again.

Beautiful Hotel, Great Staff, but expensive and remote by andreaMaidstone_Kent

My husband and I took our eleven year old for a week in October. The weather was chilly, so swimming in the pool was difficult as the heater hadn't been installed. The initial room for three had a third bed that was suitable for a young (5 and under) child. We subsequently upgraded to a suite which was worth every penny. The hotel is great, as are the staff and the setting is beautiful. The general manager is also very helpful.

On the downside, the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, so car hire is essential if you want to visit Bodrum (about 20 minutes away. Also drinks and food are expensive - double baileys £22 !

Overall we loved the hotel and the staff and we would go back - however we would hire a car so that we could eat out in Bodrum for a change of scene.

Unique, superb !!! by dory36

Me, my husband and two children (8,11 years old) have visited this great hotel in September. The location is really very impressive. The hotel has its own bay and private beach which was great for the children. The staff couldnt do enough, all very friendly and food was delicious. It is really the best place to relax and enjoy sea, sun and food.

The charming town of Bodrum is 15 to 20 minutes from the hotel and here we were able to visit some very interesting historical places.

Also we heard that Europe's largest Spa is opening at the end of this year. My and my husband are planning a Spa long weekend in March now.

We have spend an unforgetable week and we can recommend this beautiful place to everybody!!!!!

..swam and relaxed in the stunning infinity pool - seemed as if i was in the bay. Lovely hotel in a beautiful cove with chrystal clear water, it seems as if one sees the fishes from the room as the water is so clear.

Beautiful hotel, not worth the inconvenience and $ by A TripAdvisor Member
6 / 10

The hotel is calm and beautiful, but its too far from town! It didnt feel like we were at Bodrum at all, and the roads are sketchy at night w/ no lights and narrow streets through the hill - not great if you want to go out for a drink in Bodrum and then drive back.

The other problem we had was the acs were not working on our side. After we complained, it took them a couple of hours to give us another room. The ac didnt work there either, and we had to wait another two hours too while the hotel was probably 20% occuppied. Finally when we tried to walk out with our luggage at 1am, they moved us to a room w/ an ac!

Great Place by NashTrav

My husband and I stayed at this resort the first week it opened, for a week. It has a beautiful pool and beach. The staff went out of their way to meet all of our needs. Good food. Spa not yet open. It is far from town, and expensive to get to town. Rooms were very comfortable with beautiful views of the sea.
