Cosmopolitan Suites Hotel

This hotel is amazing. We were actually booked into another property that bumped us into the Cosmopolitan a day or two before we arrived. It was the best thing that could have happened. We were picked up at the ferry terminal by the hotel and taken to town, where two of the staff met us to carry our luggage up to the hotel. We were originally booked in at Athina Suites, which to our luck, messed up our reservation and we were bumped to the Cosmopolitan Suites. This was the best hotel screw up I have ever had as the Cosmopolitan was fantastic. Like many hotels on Santorini, this one is perched on a cliff side. This hotel is SO gorgeous. We had a room that was only accessible by a circular stairwell. It had a private balcony that overlooked the breathtaking caldera. The hotel staff was very personable. This is a boutique hotel. And the staff made us feel as though we were the only guests. The hotel was amazing! And the service was great too! This hotel is located at the top of the hill in Thira, close to where the cruise ships unload. The hotel is situated in the tight walkways between all the souvineer shops and restaurants. It was difficult to get to with luggage, but the hotel did help with the trek up and down hill. Parking is a pain because there is no parking. You can find parking in the town and walk uphill back to the hotel. Everything about this hotel is fantastic. The view, the rooms, the staff, the food, the location. The staff was incredibly helpful and informative, especially Daphne and Georgina. The infinity pool overlooking the caldera was amazing. The location is perfect as it is near everything you want to be near but also removed enough so that it is quiet. Me and my boyfriend have been waiting for this holiday for so long...and for many weeks before our arrival I have been in contact with the amazing Daphne. When we arrived we couldn't believe our eyes, it was soo much more than what we expected. Firstly let me say that we had a great time at Cosmopolitan Suites. The staff are friendly and the views are amazing (as per all the other reviews). But... 1) There are not enough sun loungers for everyone staying in the hotel. There are 10 rooms (20 people) and only 6 sun loungers! There are some deck chairs but these are very uncomfortable. 2) The bathrooms are sub-standard. We stayed in two rooms and both were the same. A beautiful hotel kept by great people providing very efficient service. We loved the view, the pool, the breakfast, the room (cleaned up twice a day), the mobile phone to contact them in case of emergency, the proximity of Fira, the helpful instructions for sightseeing, the discret but efficient presence of the hotel's staff. Definitely, one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at.

We stayed at Cosmopolitan Hotel during the last leg of our European honeymoon. We arrived about 8pm after a long day of travel. We were greeted by a porter (I forgot his name, but he was awesome) who carried (I literally mean carried) our luggage up to the hotel. I have to admit- these reviews do not do the Cosmopolitan Suites justice. My wife and I stayed there recently (in April) as a part of our honeymoon, and we stayed at several others around Santorini. If you want to be close to the best restaurants, shopping, view, and activities in Santorini (aside from going to the beach), stay here in Fira. We stayed in other "top rated" hotels from Trip advisor, and none held a candle to this place.
