" Very pleasant hotel and convenient... "

Very pleasant hotel and convenient for old town with bars and restaurants. We had a room at the rear of hotel which was very quiet, which we found to be in good order and clean.
The only points which let it down was that there weren't enough sun beds or parasols and if you wished to take breakfast outside there wasn't enough shade.
The waiter service by the pool was most of the time poor or non existent. Restaurant menu could do with different specials each day.

This hotel is excellent. I have stayed here on three occasions with my wife and can recommend it to anyone.
Staff are first class, rooms spotless although some need some decorative repairs. Food first class. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. They are always friendly and courteous, with a nice sense of humour.
It best suits those travelling without children. There is a children’s play park (local council) nearby about 50 meters from the hotel.
Rhodes town (Old town) is a short walk away about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Lots to see and do.
The hotel is small, 60 rooms, but this does not detract from it at all. There is an archaeological site behind the hotel which is currently being dug. I am told that they are Byzantize houses. Suites are to the front of the hotel and there may be some road noise.
Rooms are to the rear and very quite with a view of the archaeology!

The breakfast offers a range from continental to English cooked breakfast, however this is not as hot as it could be at times. The dinner menu for half board sadly needs a review, the main courses are a true lottery and we would recommend that anyone staying at this hotel stay on a B&B basis allowing you to enjoy the many restaurants that the city has to offer.
There are still not enough sunbeds and umbrellas next to the pool. Also the poolside staff at the bar are noticeable by their absence throughout the day. The public rooms lack air-conditioning, the maitre'd is conspicuous by his absence and is only interested in the A-La Carte diners.
The rooms on the upper two floors are tired but the manager has informed us that the hotel is due to close for refurbishment ready for 2008.
Overall it is best to stay here on a B&B basis. However there are some modern small boutique hotels popping up in the new part of the Rhodes city, also a short walk away from the old city.
