I was searching through the site for updates on hotels and was surprised that nobody has commented on the Villa Costa.
My husband and I spent one of our best holidays here last year. Not ever being to Greece before we were not sure what to expect.
This boutique hotel is first class in everything, when we arrived we were met by Spiros, the manager who took us to our room, which was decorated and furnished to a very high standard with everything you need. There are only 7 rooms and they are all excellent.
The Owner Marios and his Mother (who tends the beautiful gardens) are always on hand to make sure you have everything you need. Catherine who is Spiros mother, cooks everything fresh to order. You order what you would like from the Menu which has an excellent choice.
I have been lucky enough to have spent time in many 4 and 5 star hotels, and the food and the way it was presented here is the best I have seen anywhere. My husband wanted a particular fish one evening, Marios drove into the capital to buy it, and then Catherine cooked it.
The hotel is set opposite Skala beach, and about a ten minute walk from the town centre, that’s if you feel like leaving.
I came home feeling very special and spoilt, and will return.
