Open your eyes at InterContinental Aphrodite Hills hotel, Paphos in Cyprus as somebody will try always to cheat you… We had found in internet an "interesting" two night vacation called 2 –Day Christmas Eve in a Deluxe Room with Pool or Garden View package at the luxury... more

This hotel was so good, def 5*. We went with my dad who is in a wheel chair. They have disabled rooms. And the hotel is on the level; just don’t go out and about in the resort. You will need a hire car, as you will feel isolated. More about the hotel, the food is... more

The resort is very new and well kept and has a 'clean and sparkly' feel to it. It is situated around a beautiful golf course so is very green and lush. All the staff are friendly and welcoming, and everyone speaks English. We felt very comfortable and welcomed. It is only... more

I stayed at this hotel in September 2006 - and I’m booked to go back in September 2007! That says it all really. The hotel is ideal for those wanting to get away from the crowd’s .The standards are excellent and the staff always willing to help. If you are a golfer the... more

We visited this hotel for a week, with two children aged 3 and 8. We had a superior room, which was a good size, with a living area, double sofa-bed. Fantastic bathroom, with a huge corner shower and deep bath. These superior rooms are on the corner of each block of... more

We booked a week through Amathus, who also offered villas at the Aphrodite Hills Resort, so we decided to rent one with its own swimming pool. Breakfast was included in the price, which we were supposed to take at the hotel. When we arrived, we found our villa was about 3km... more

We stayed here for a week’s holiday in September. The hotel is nice and new and the gardens and golf course looked very well looked after. There are 2 larger outdoor swimming pools and 1 small, shallow for pool for small children (which is also covered with a canopy). ... more

Excellent hotel, spacious, pure luxury, food is amazing, staff are attentive & helpful, everything here that you would ever need from a hotel, spa golf, etc, etc. Might need to hire a car if you get bored easily as its about 20 mins from Paphos centre so if you want a bit... more

Loved it!
Had a terrific 10 day break with my kids and my finacee. Clean, great service, luxurious rooms! Prices are not for the fainthearted by it keeps the Butlins crowd well at bay! If you are looking for sun, a great pool and relaxation this is a wonderful spot. Great mix of romance and family friendly. Best property I have stayed in on my four trips to Cyprus. more
Wonderful, memorable stay
My husband and I stayed in one of the junior villas in September. The villa was not the one I had actually booked but was equally beautiful. The only disappointment was the lack of a balcony, but we had a lovely terrace overlooking the pool and golf course. Villas could have been more private too. We were lucky as we just had a small family and a couple next door but if you had a group it would get rather disruptive I imagine. Anyway, we were very happy and only a stone's throw from the village centre which was really useful. The... more
Wedding Outstanding
What can I say about this place! Everything is out of this world. I'm not just saying this because we got married there, but the place is class. From the moment you check in with your champagne arrival, until you checkout, you know you have been well looked after. Breakfast ( served until 11 ) , is great. Everything available from your fruit to your fry. The rooms are excellent, though some don't have a sea view, and with maid service twice a day, you won't be short of a dry towel. The staff are amazing and are always there to help with your... more
Great Hotel
Had a fantastic stay in this hotel. Room was excellent as we were upgraded to Club room with jacuzzi on the balcony. Great view, and large bedroom, lounge and bathroom. Service in the Club lounge was also excellent. The breakfasts and evening nibbles were always sufficient. Food was also good in the hotel's other restaurants, although we did have very poor service in Mesogious one night. Prices were a little high, but then 5 star hotels aren't usually cheap! Pool area was nice, and the water wasn't too cold (but it... more
Fantastic Hotel!
We stayed here after staying at the Coral Beach Hotel. What a difference! This hotel is definitely 5 star. The hotel is beautiful, the staff are helpful, the food is great, the golf course is also good if not a little over booked when we went. We stayed in a superior room which was not massive, it had a double bed and a sofa which turned into a bed for our 10 year old daughter, the bathroom was almost as big as the room with a huge walk in shower and a separate bath. The rooms were decorated beautifully. The pool is beautiful. The... more
Definitely not a 5 star
Altho' this hotel is excellent in many ways it is too far from anywhere. PLEASE NOTE THAT IT TAKES 20 MINUTES by hotel mini-bus to get to the beach! Hotel literature on this point vague so we were very surprised at the distance. Hotel housekeeping not very good - we had to constantly ask for items to be replaced. Hotel staff excellent - but mostly East European or Pakistani. Where are all the Cypriots? We also considered the food over priced altho' of very good quality. Breakfast good but average - we have had much better and... more
The makings of a Superb Resort - but not yet!
Following mainly favourable reviews on Trip Advisor we booked for 4 nights at the resort Hotel as part of a split resort holiday. We were not disappointed. We booked the club package and enjoyed the more intimate service of a club lounge where nothing was too much trouble. We were upgraded to a room with a small pool which was superb, although the pool was a bit cold. We lounged round our own pool with golf and sea views which was bliss. This was preferable to being packed around the main pool. We alternated between the main hotel... more
Nice but expensive
We stayed here from 8th - 15th October 2006. We booked direct through the hotel. We were allocated a sea view room on the ground floor (Room 1218) and it was lovely, beautiful views of the 10th hole of the golf course and the sea beyond. The rooms were very quiet, we never heard anyone in adjacent rooms or the corridor. The room itself is well furnished and the bathroom is well stocked with towels and organic toiletries. The only problem with our room was that they never changed the pillow cases (as my husband had spilt ketchup on his... more
Pretentious & noisy
We liked the comments in this forum about Aphrodite Hills, so my partner and I decided to stay in the hotel for a week at the end of June. We booked through Amathus, who also had villas on their books at the resort, so we decided to rent one with its own swimming pool. Breakfast, which we were supposed to take each morning at the hotel, was included in the price. When we arrived, we found ourselves in a huge resort - our villa was about 3km from the “village” and the Hotel, so if we hadn’t hired a car, we would have been stuck at... more
Not 5* but very good nonetheless
We were very impressed on arrival with the look and feel of the hotel but frustrated to find that our room was not yet ready despite the fact that we arrived at 9:30pm. This was not resolved for almost an hour at which point we had been upgraded as all rooms of the standard we had booked needed cleaning. The room was beautiful with a fantastic bathroom and in general the hotel / resort facilities were first class. A number of the previous reviews comment on service and restaurants available and in my opinon both of these do not... more
