Rio Calma Hotel Reviews

RIO CALMA
Just got back! a top class hotel! The room was modern, smart and well kept as was the rest of the hotel. The evening entertainment wasn't that great but everything else was! 95% of other guests were German and couples of all ages. Nicely spearated from the mass of other hotels in the town but only a 10 min walk to the excellent sandy main beach of Costa Calma.
I would reccomend this hotel to anyone wanting a calm and relaxing break in top quality surroundings.
This Hotel didn't win the Tui Awards in 2006 & 2007 for nothing!

I stayed in this hotel as I could not eat the food in the Sunset Costa Calma Beach hotel,
and having just read the previous review I wonder if i went to the same Rio Calma as she did.
The food was excellent, the staff were friendly everywhere I went I was greeted by a smile and a hello. The facilities were clean and well looked after, and the grounds were unbelievable. This is not a typical all inclusive package hotel, its a hotel for people who want peace and tranquility. If you are going to holiday abroad you must expect people of other nationalities to do the same.

This hotel was rubbish!! I would not recommend it to anyone. It was mainly meant for French people not English. The staff were very rude to us.
The rooms are tiny, the walls were paper thin, we would have been more comfy sleeping on the floor as the beds and pillows were rock hard. The only good about the rooms was the air con system.
The food was very limited.
The pool was tiny.
We would not go back again.
