92 rooms in the heart of historic Berlin, with excellent access to all public transport and only approximately 10 km away from the exhibition center and the airports of Berlin.
We went to Berlin recently for a city weekend break, and what a fabulous place it is. The airport we flew into has a train running from it directly to the city centre which is great and only cost 2.10 euros. The hotel we were staying at was the Sofitel next to the zoo, it is very central right in the heart of Berlin in a distinct called Mitte. There is an underground station only a 5 minute walk away which can take you to any part of the city you want.
The hotel itself was beautiful very modern with a huge marble entrance hall, we stayed on one of the non smoking floors. The room were really, really luxurious, with lots of towels, luxury bathrobes, and even an umbrella in case it rains.
The hotel also has a big pool, which was closed for cleaning unfortunately when we were there. We paid extra for the breakfast in the morning which was 20 euros it was a bit pricey but worth it.
The only thing to watch out for is the drink prices in the bar I bought a whisky and lemonade which ended up costing 13euros.
but overall this is a classy hotel and wasn't particularly expensive for the room, so if you don't mind getting you breakfast elsewhere then it doesn't work out to much to stay at
