This holiday was fantastic. The grounds are immaculately kept with gardeners working constantly.
The rooms are spacious and very clean, with the towel art every so often. The restaurants are very good I especially recommend The Oriental. The Star Rock was not so good, you felt very rushed as people are always waiting for your table. The main buffet has everything you could want for breakfast, omelettes cooked while you wait - fab. Of an evening, there is always something for everyone, even the most fussy eaters.
The pools are gorgeous, one the Punta Cana is shallower and warmer than the Dominicana but is literally only five yards between them. There is a health bar by the pool serving your choice of smoothy. The entertainment team work very hard from 10.30 until late. There is a wide variety of games throughout the day with paella party's with dancing at lunch times.
The evening shows on the whole are good a little repetitive but always a bit of fun. The Michael Jackson show is a must. They have a beach party at 11pm once a week this was great fun. We will definitely be returning in the future.

The room was ok. The aircon was a bit noisy we had the ceiling fan on instead, which was just right through the night.There is a coffee maker in the room and flat screen tv.Our bed was huge so you can spread yourselfs out.
Food was good. We are beach people and the beach was lovely, one problem is you have to get up early to get shade (6-7am) which after five mornings was no joke.
We gave up and went to the pool instead. You could walk to beach for a swim not very far.
The airport was very nice. Was all open with big ceiling fans to keep you cool. If you are smoker it has smoking area in airport itself. So you can have a puff before you board.
