Pleasantly surprised by accommodation, villa had not 3 but 4 bedrooms off the courtyard. Very comfortable, clean, well situated, everything possible that you would need is there, mosquito screens on all bedrom windows; the only minus point was the number of cats around, running across awnings and sitting outside front door. If they ran across awning in courtyard early morning, you thought the roof was coming in ! Talk about a rude awakening. First time in Lindos, absolutely breathtaking, shops, bars, restaurants, all first class, people very friendly, in fact, friendliest we've ever encountered, views wonderful, easy access via shuttle bus to top of hill for trips to Rhodes, Pefkos, Lardos, etc. Buses usually on time although standing to Rhodes for the 1 hour trip is a bit uncomfortable. Pallas Travel just around corner from villa was very helpful, safety deposit boxes for hire, also electrical goods, we didnt need a fan as early May weather was just perfect, not too hot. All in all, a bargain last minute holiday. Would certainly go back, if villa was available, accommodation generally in Greece quite basic (through talking to other holidaymakers) but we couldnt find any complaints.

Basic but clean villa.
Plus points:
1. Has ceiling fans in every bedroom.
2. Bed linen changed daily.
3. Towels supplied.
Minus points:
1. Lindos in the summer is so hot the ceiling fans have next to no effect!
2. Surrounding streets can get dirty and smelly (this has no affect on the inside the villa).
Tips:
1. Hire a couple of fans from "The Corner Shop" (facing the two churches) costing approx 15euros and a refundable security deposit of 10euros.
2. If it gets really hot you can always sleep in the courtyard!
3. Go every night to the bakery/ice cream shop called "Swedco" 75 yards away next to the Italian restaurant. Well worth the 1euro each for small tub of ice cream in an air-conditioned environment.
4. Use the safety deposit boxes in Pallas Travel 100 yards from villa. The deposit boxes we found were free of charge, leaving £20 refundable security deposit.
We would recommend this villa and would look to book a return visit. We would go as far to say if the villa came up for sale at the right price we would love to buy it (adding aircon of course). The villa really could do with aircon, but lets face it for the price we could not complain. We can also recommend Andy, he is the rep based in Pallas travel for Thompson/Manos/MyTravel and by his T-shirt various other companies. He is the only t-total tour rep I’ve ever known, so buy him a drink from me!

The Villa we found pleasant and basic.
Plus point: ceiling fans in all 4 bedrooms!
Minus point: it’s so hot in August the fans have no effect!
Plus point: linen is changed daily and towels supplied.
Minus point: the surrounding approaching streets are not kept very clean and believe me can smell when they get hot (this does not affect the inside of the villa).
Tip:
1. Rent a fan or two from "The Corner Shop" facing the 2 churches together (cost varies about 10 euros a fan per week, and a refundable deposit is required).
2. Go every night to Swedco (fancy bakery/ice-cream house) on the corner next to the Italian restaurant facing the new amphitheatre (1 euro for an ice cream in an air-conditioned environment, this was a godsend).
3. Use the safety deposit boxes at Pallas travel, 100 yards from villa, and 20 yards from empire of the sun. The deposit boxes we found were free of charge except from a £20 refundable security deposit.
4. Get lost in the streets, it’s the only way to get about.
5. If too hot sleep in the courtyard like my entire family did all week! But be warned when the cats run across the awning at night you may think the world is falling in on you.
Overall this place is well recommended; it could really do with air-conditioning, but let’s face it for the price you can't really complain. We would go back and if the villa ever came up for sale at the right price would have no hesitation buying.

The villa was lovely, no mod cons or anything but we were not without anything we needed.
The position was great just on the outskirts of the village but close enough for everything.
Lindos itself was gorgeous and all the locals were so lovely. We will definitely going back.

Just come back from 2 weeks in Kardamena.Stayed at the Paraschos. It was brillaint, great location, great hosts Konnie and Manos. The best restuarant was the Sun Mediterainian just behind Cleopatra hotel.Go to Greggs Place if you fancy the best coffees ever during the day,and for good company and brilliant people at night,Gregg is the nicest person you could meet.Grill house on the front is the best and Christos is a great guy, does the best gyros. If you fancy a laugh go the the Atheano and meet Billy, Lefteri,Nicos and Dinos great guys. For brilliant cheap cocktails Adams bar is a must.Definetely will go back again Nicki and Wayne
