It was our 1st time to Turkey. So pleased that we chose the Arum Hotel.
On the outskirts of Side so it was peacefull at night for the children, hotel was immaculate, food beyond excellent (especially desserts). Staff were all so helpful and could not do enough for you, friendly at all times ! Pool fantastic as was the spacious beach which was right outside of our hotel.
Landscape gardens spectacular, entertainment for all ages.
Would definately reccomend this hotel for everyone especially families with young children !!

Just got back from a really good holiday to Argassi in Zante. The resort was really nice and I would recommend going. It is a small place but has lots of nice bars and restaurants. Zorbas was particularly nice.
The Windmill studios pool was really really nice and you can see the sea from it. The bar and reception were nice but the rooms were a bit horrible. Very basic, the kitchen is just a since and a cooking ring!!! Nowhere to actually prepare the food, Luckily the food in Argassi is very good value so we ate out all the time anyway. The bathroom is disgusting. Like a wet room, it stinks. The shower is tiny and next to the toliet, when you pull the shower curtain it includes the toilet!!! uuugggghhh. The curtain sticks to you. Really nasty!!! The beds are hard any uncomfortable. They change the sheets every day and clean the floor which was good.
The balcony we had was a shared one. Which I didnt like as I would have liked to sit out there but you feel a bit self concious with other people there!
The staff there are very friendly and helpful. The food there is quite nice too. The greek night at the hotel was also good.
I had a brilliant time. I would definately recommend going to Argassi but I wouldnt stay in the Windmill Studios again. unless they changed their rooms!!!!
The diana palace looked nicer so when we go back I think we will stay ther instead!

The hotel is very clean but basic.. ideal for my and boyfriend and I first holiday abroad. The pool is average size and you will find people will put their towels out early for sunbeds. Argassi is a lovely place.. but please do not go here expecting a beach literally a strip of sand with a handful of sunbeds but beautiful beaches of st nikolas and kalamaki are only a short taxi ride away. Argassi is full of bars and resteraunts with a variety of menus on offer. The staff very helpful and always around to offer advise or call you a taxi.
All in all a lovely holiday, Zante is small enough so you can visit the many beaches and places of interest of the island by taxi or bus (often which is free).

It was my first time abroad and I was nervous. As soon as you get to the reception they start greeting you and take your bags to your room.
In the reception they have comfy sofas and a big TV, there’s also a piano and a pool table. The pool is deep like 9ft so it’s great for adults and a kid section. On the main road there’s pubs, shops and restaurants and they all speak English so there’s no trouble.
I recommend if you go there go to Green Frog (a pub) which has internet, sky TV, ping pong, bouncy castle, air hockey and basketball. And you sometimes see a lizard type of animal.
I also recommend The Granada, a restaurant on the right hand side of the pathway which has great entertainment and nice food and obviously friendly staff.

We have just got back from a week’s stay at the windmill studios. The rooms were immaculate, our beds were changed daily and also the towels.
The owners are really nice. It is a very chilled out place to stay. We had quite a few meals at the snack bar, they were good and very cheap. It is only a 5 minute walk into the Argassi centre. There was no noise in the evenings.
We would definitely go back to the Windmill studios. It is especially good for families as the Windmill studios is away from the main road.

Perfect for British people. My boyfriend and I, from Holland, enjoyed our holiday nevertheless.
The beach may be a two-minute walk away from the apartment but you can't really call it a beach. More like a strip of sand on which only a handful of people can stay. The better beaches are to the south. Try Zorro Beach: you will need a cab (about € 15).
The pool at the apartment is not very big but big enough and very nice.
Overall friendly staff, very nice piece of Greece and lots of restaurants.

The Windmill was in perfect location for me and my boyfriend, it was out first holiday together, and I would definitely recommend it to all couples.
The resort its self was quite busy and there was plenty to do for all ages.
The beach was a 2 second walk room the apartment and many water sports to choose from (would definitely recommend the rings). The night life is great in Argassi which is only a 10 minute taxi ride away!
There are plenty bars and restaurants to choose from with a lot of variety!
Aircon at the windmill is essential but quite expensive!
Overall a great holiday!

Second visit to the Windmill. Ideal location for families with younger children and only short walking distance to all amenities, restaurants and bars.
Staff at the Windmill always friendly. First Choice rep we had for first week was a let down by not introducing himself, but the lady who took over was lovely.
Will be back to Argassi in the not too distant future. It’s great!

Me and 12 others stayed in windmill studios, and we all had the same opinion on the hotel.
We all really enjoyed our stay.
As the staff were all very polite and the hotel was very clean. Well worth a visit.
