i went to zante last year for the first time with my friend as a last minute thing, and i am so glad we did. it turned out to be the best week of our lives. everyone at this hotel was amazing the food was great and was just an all round fantastic time. we stayed at this hotel The windmill studios and the owners jenny and dennis were just lovley, always happy to help and really made us feel welcome it what felt like 1 big home. we had great fun at the greek night but the best night was from there live entertainer "The Baxter Charm" (Gavin Baxter) he was absolutly amazing every song he sang had us cheering for more and we even followed him to 2 other shows in laganas. cant wait to go back this year.

Thankyou Jenny, Denis and staff for another fantastic holiday.
This was our sixth holiday at the Windmill apartments and we wouldnt dream of staying anywhere else. The Windmill is nicely situated in the resort and the rooms are spotlessly clean and well looked after. The pool area is kept clean and the food served at the pool side bar is really good (wonderful chocolate brownies with ice cream). Everybody is made to feel really welcome and the staff can't do enough for you.
Thanks again
See you next year!!!

we have just came back from a 2week stay at the windmill studios. i booked up for a large group as i was getting married over there. The people i booked for ranged in ages from 10 upto 78 and everyone had a fantastic time. The rooms are basic but comfortable- they are cleaned everyday to a good standard and the maids are friendly enough. We also seen the pool area and paths around the hotel area being cleaned on a reg basis.
I thought the snack bar was reasonabily priced and the staff were very friendly.I would also reccommend the "Greek Night" at the hotel. It was 12 euro each (6 euro for children) and is very good value for money food wise and also a very entertaining evening.
We ate out every night and enjoyed the red lion, legends and zorbas.
Fantastic hotel, superb location and just a really enjoyable holiday- we will defo be back- thanks jenny and dennis for a great holiday and all you done to make our wedding perfect.

It was our first Holiday abroad and we were not disapointed. A great hotel for families, brilliant views of the sea, clean apartments, the food at this hotel was the best on the island and the prices were cheap. Very friendly local people, who speak good English. The boat trip of the island was a great day out, but be aware that the full day trip is nearly ten hours long, so if you are not very keen on boats, the half day trip would be the best option. Legends was cheap on price but the food was not to the highest standards. Some resturants do put bread on the table before your main meal, which you are charged for. The Green Frog have a great resturant and gift shop, but shop around when buying gifts. The Avalon Bar is a great theme bar for all ages designed by Walt Disney, very friendly staff and they have the best Cocktails. The Beer Acadamy is the best place to have a great of pool. Zante town was not the best town on the island. Laganas is a lively place that has great shops. We was lucky enough to have a turtle swim next to our pedal boat, which is a great thing to see. Shipwreck island was my favourite place to visit. The best thing to do is to hire a car to see all the best places and views of the island. We made some great friends while we were there, check out there local singer Gavin Baxter (The Baxter Charm) this place would be a great place to live.

i booked 12 months in advance to go to kalamaki but less than 2 weeks before we went on holiday it was changed to the windmill studios in argassi and can honestly say it was my worst ever holiday ever. the rooms are very basic the bathrooms were very small the shower was always freezing no hot water in 2 weeks, my step daughter along with numerous other guests got ear infections from the pool. it was afamily holiday and my sons 1st holiday he was 13 months and is now petrified of the shower. green frog is ideal for kids but got fed up of it after a week of going there, the pavements are so small and especially having a pram i found it hard work as people can be ignorant and not let you past so you can wait for 5 minutes to get along the road. we went to kalamaki in june 2006 and would defo recommend to go there and am looking to go there in 2010.
The staff was nice and helpful.

Our 4th holiday to Argassi in 5 years, and our 3rd stay at Windmill. We never want to come back to the UK from here because everyone makes you feel so at home.
Clean rooms, pleasant staff, relaxing atmosphere at the Windmill...Green Frog is also our second home for meals, and Beer Academy for a late night drink. Until our 2 girls are older, we will continue to holiday in Argassi. We love it!!!
Another fabulous holiday!! Be back next year!!

Me, my hubby and kids age 17 and 14 really enjoyed our visit to The Windmill Apartments, very basic but clean, all the staff were friendly, well positioned in a great spot close to the beach and short walk to the shops and restaurants. Ate out every night, would highly recommend Green Frog and Legends (american style diner, very cheap)
We would definatly go back, lots of places we didnt see as we chilled by the pool every day.

Just arrived back from our holiday in Zante. Already missing it! What a fab time we had! Windmill studios being the perfect base. Rooms were clean and comfortable, bathroom...lets just say what you would expect in greece!! Staff were always nice and helpful. Wouldn`t recommend the beach it was horrible. Had a great day out at the water park, fun for all the family. Also went on the boat trip, stopping off on turtle island and keri caves before going turtle spotting. Both trips we booked through Peter in the village. Good value for money! Ate meals at the green frog every night! Staff there are lovely, food is fab, what more could you ask for. Can`t wait to go back for another visit.

well just got back from our hols! the apartments themselves were extremely basic, two hob rings and a sink (not that we had any intentions of cooking there anyway!) Dennis and Jenny were both very friendly and helpful as were the other staff. Didn't opt for the air conditioning in the apartment as was told this would be another 70 Euros and felt that this should have been included and not an extra payment.
Found some great restaurants. best ones was zorbes, Erato, and Venetsiana. all great food and good value for money.
We hires a car for three days which we were so glad that we did as saw some great sights. did some fab trips too. well worth the money was the cruise around the island. Great swim stops and saw some beautiful beaches.
all in all was a fab holiday and weather was just heaven, even if it never felt like it got much below 40 !

Hi, just got back from my holidays (August 2008). Myself my 15yr old son, my friend and her two girls. We had a wondeful stay at the Windmill studios. The staff were very helpful and friendly, there's a pool side bar that serves meals from 8am till late. The food was very good and not bad prices either. Towels are changed every other day and the beds changed once a week. There are two ring hob for you to cook on, so you can't do much cooking.
We did eat out a lot, and found this lovely resaurant called Castaways, it's as you come put of the apartments, you turn left by the green frog carry on along the road until you come to a junction, turn left again and it's half way up the road on the right hand side, it's not easy to find, as it's a roof top restaurant, but the food is fantastic!!
Be aware, don't eat on the corner of this street at a resaurant called Premier, it looks nice and inviting, but it's a rip off. While we were waitng for our food we were given two lots of bread that we thought was free as there was quite a wait for our meal, plus when they ask you for your order they say "would you like salad or veg"? thinking this was included in our meal, But when we had the bill we had a shock as we were charged extra for these, so, don't eat there!!!
we also had a takeway from the Chinease/Indian on the same road before the junction, don't have a takeaway, as when we got the food back to our apartments the dishes were a quarter full, very disapointing. We did compalin, but got nowhere, so i wouldn't recomend here either.
Apart from that we had a fab time, and definately would go back there!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

Great holiday for couples and families.
Perfect location, far enough away from the town and main road to to have a good night sleep but not too far to feel like you've walked a marathon before you get to your first bar. Although it is a long way from the airport and we were dropped off last.
Bedrooms are what you'd expect. Bit of a shock when you first get in there but become home quite quickly. Toilets are awful but no worse than any other that I've seen when holidaying in the Greek islands.
Cleaning staff were great and deserve a tip at the end of the trip.
Meals at the bar were tasty and the portions you can get were superb.
You can't stay in to eat as there is no real kitchen and there are too many restaurants to choose from. There is one that was lovely, turn left out of the hotel and keep left. Its about a 100 yards down and set away from the road. The atmosphere was great and always just busy enough.
Pools' clean and deep (3metres-ish) and sunbeds all over. Kids everywhere so mind your head when they're constantly jumping in! There is no real beach but the pool is fine by me. Hate sand anyway!
For party central you'll have to pop to Laganas but there are a couple of Bars along the 'strip'. Magic Mushroom was a good laugh, especially when there lighting the bar on fire! Camelot bar has great cocktails and is less than a stones throw from the magic mushroom.
To start the night, the Golf bar next door was always a great start. A calm bar before the storm later on, or as a mellow beginning for a pleasant quiet night of relaxation.
All in all a great holiday. Me and my girlfriend both thought so and was missing it as soon as we stepped on the coach to come back home.

The windmill studios are a great place to stay, this was our second time there, and we could not fault it. Jenny and Denis all the staff especially Helen the lovely girl who served all the meals through the day always with a big smile was always cheerful and worked hard. Sue in reception was hilarious and joked along all the time. We stayed in one of the studios overlooking the pool, great. The studio was kept clean all the time we were there, sheets and towels every other day. we will be going back next year. Green Frog at the bottom of the road served great meals and their supermarket is very handy too. All in all a super holiday...
