What a fantastic Holliday! Good food, friendly people, met loads of new friends, fantastic hotel, can’t wait to go back! I can’t understand why people say this place isn’t clean? We found it very clean, and the beach is lovely, ok it was a bit dirty, but the time of the yr, and the pool is beautiful, although was cold, again time of year. We loved it very peaceful! Not one for partygoers!!

We have had a great holiday at this hotel, staff very kind and helpful, pool area great for children, lots of games for children football, ping pong, volleyball etc. Other pool area quieter, beach 3-5 min walk sunbeds, beach bar food and drinks served on beach or in bar.
People who have found fault with the resort or hotel have either been unlucky or are the type of people who are never happy.

Summer 2005 this was the best holiday destination ever. I would advice young people and families to visit this brill place there is lots to do and alot to see. As for the hotel it is definitely an excellent choice to make as the hotel caters for everyone’s needs. Excellent swimming pool, health facilities, hotel organises tours to bazaar, Sahara desert, quad biking (excellent), I had the best time even better the main beach is only a five minute walk however if you don’t want to walk there is a horse carriage which gives you a free ride there and back. The food in the hotel I found very good obviously some foods going to be according to the Tunis taste but so what we have to adjust a little. I would very much advice this place to stay also very close by they have the best night life (Latino).

Before our holiday we had seen a lot of bad reports about this hotel and were very worried prior to going. panorama did nothing to ease our fears.
When we got there the hotel was clean and modern although table & chairs grubby.
Staff were cleaning every day in public places through out the hotel.
food was good - first time on H/b. Animation team (entertainment) were excellent and helped make a very enjoyable holiday even on the 2 days it rained (and it rained!!).
had trouble with patio door and on 2nd complaint it was fixed but air conditioning seemed to be struggling - our friends said their room was freezing so I guess it was just our room.
waiters and staff were very attentive and helpful (we were paying & tipping) but neglected the people who were all-inclusive. The all inclusive complained about small measures on limited drinks and small portions of lunchtime food. I would recommend H/B.
Would recommend hotel but if any problems push your complaint or it will be forgotten.
Overall rate holiday 9/10 and would definitely go back to Tunisia.

I went with everyone in my family as the last family holiday we might have. There was 6 of us and from some of the other reviews we didn’t know what to expect.
We arrived late Sunday night, Monday morning. The staff gave us a warm welcome and took out luggage upstairs. Impressions of the room were very good. Excellent air conditioning, and very clean.
The food isn’t the best as people have said but there are plenty of things to choose from so there’s bound to be something you like. The waiters were fabulous, they were friendly and had a laugh with us all, every night.
The big outdoor pool was brilliant and very nice and clean.
I would recommend this holiday to other families and whilst we were there, there were alot of couples so I would say it was suitable for couples as well.
Thanks for a great holiday.

Well I thought as I have looked on here at the reviews and have been I should give m y honest rating, we arrived late on a Sunday night and did not expect the 2 hour coach trip, but that was my fault for not checking.
Ok so we got to the hotel and the staff were helpful took m y bags and accepted I had no money to tip them, felt bad though.
The room was great air con worked fine room was clean and tidy and we overlooked one of the pools. the next day we looked around and honestly were surprised at the amount of complaints it had got from people using this site, what were you all expecting this place for me was great, the pool was clean and looked after the staff were helpful , the maids were top class and kept the rooms brill. the weather was great. you do have a small walk to the beach through the back of the hotel and the road you walk down looks run down but it is nothing I have not seen in the uk. when you get to the beach it is fantastic! clean , lots of activities , hot, what more can you want, now there is a few things I suggest.
first make sure you get the water from the pool bar as it is plastic bottle and not the glass ones from the bar which I think had there own tap water and rebottled. the food now I did have a bad stomach from some of it but I think it may have been the pasta as it is washed in their water, but each person is different. the one bad thing, which I did not like, is the evening entertainment it was a bit rough. but if you are willing to walk down the road there are English bars and Irish bars and they’re great. do watch out for the shop owners on the street if you have a partner or gf they like to dress them in clothes. be firm and say no and walk away and they leave you alone.
Guys i have been totally honest here and recommend this hotel, if you want a great price holiday then go, and don’t worry , oh yea currency is diner, get it at the hotel you get such a better rate looking at about 2.36 ideally , Tunis the centre you can get a bottle of coke for 19p and food is very cheap like 2.50 for a three course meal. my advice to get there is get in a taxi go the bus station get a ride to the town and back it will cost max 10 d which is like a fiver for 2 , the guy at the hotel wanted £30 return.. just a warning.
I give it 8/10 and wish all of you a nice holiday!

Was really looking forward to the holiday as it was also our honeymoon. On first appearances it looked very good, even if we did arrive at midnight after a 2 hour coach drive. However as we were a couple, the 5 girl group who arrived after us got priority.
Our room was at the very end of the complex which wasn’t too much of a problem as we couldn’t hear any of the music being played and the rooms was ok, with working aircon.
The food was ok, slightly repetitive which was ok for me but my partner had an upset tummy halfway through the holiday. Coupled with the fact that a lady on our second day managed to burn both her hands severely as a result of a faulty piece of equipment in the dining room.
Pet hate was that there are 4 guys who are trying to sell their excursions within the hotel grounds, a camel ride, a galleon ship, quad bikes and use of the spa. Even when you say no, they still pester you whenever they see you. I would however recommend the spa as the massage for £12 is wicked!
The entertainment people were on first appearance very good however they do like to take their work a bit too far and know of at least 5 guests who were having extra activities added on to their bill and if you were in a couple they often over looked you as all they wanted were single girls.
The medina’s to a point were ok however on 2 occasions where I declined to go into a shop I was not allowed to pass on by, to which I bit my tongue and retreated. The excursions were ok apart from the Tunis market, which is ok, but then you have some really other boring bits to do afterwards. The Arabian night was 3 minutes up the road, which was great, but the night itself is boring. One belly dance is ok, but changing the name of the dance didn’t change the dance itself.
Go back again.....no way. Luckily my partner and myself made it a holiday to remember but would not put myself back in that position again.

I had read some really bad reviews before my boyfriend and I went on this holiday and I was really worried. However, once we had been in the hotel for a day, I realised I didn’t really need to worry.
I was concerned about the food, because being a vegetarian, I wasn’t sure there’d be enough to eat. There were five different vegetarian dishes laid out every lunch and dinner time. I thought the food was good, it was varied and tasty, much better than I have had in similar, more expensive hotels.
The staff were friendly and were keen for you to have a good time. We found that tipping helped and most members of staff gave us great, personal service. There was always something to do and explore, and the trip to Tunis and the Arabian Nights evening were really memorable excursions.
I would say that we probably went at an ideal time of year, it wasn’t hot or too busy, but it was busy enough for everything to be open. I would say if you’re the sort of person who likes trying new things and sampling different cultures, there’s no reason why you wouldn’t like this hotel.
We had an excellent time, and for the price we paid, got great value for money. Would recommend it to a friend and go again.

This place is an eye opener. There was no heating in the hotel. Unless you sat in your room. You could not get a drink from the unhelpful staff if you were all inclusive. You not spending money at the bar you were lucky to get 4 drinks in one night. The food was ...not labelled so you did not know what you were eating.
It says it has a private beach please take a look someone ...it is vile. And about 3 - 4 streets away in dodgy territory. And we were told of a dead camels head on the beach. The waiters add extras on your receipts things you just sign for. Tax fiddle or what? no entertainment at all. It took us 3 hours to get to the hotel dodgy transport or what. We were left in the middle of a street whilst the driver went off to who knows were...you was not allowed to bring even a cup of tea out of the dinning room or the staff would shout at you.
This was booked through med hotels. We asked for a good hotel with a gym...the gym had been shut for a year... We never found it anyway. The maids were drinking the alcohol you took with you from England ...no wonder they was always smiling in the dark corridors. Less than two lights on per corridor. Health and safety issue or what? Then came the power cuts so not only had we nothing to do we had to sit in candle light??? No explanation given. I would love holiday watchdog to feature this place on its next programme. You are like begging prisoners. The food was so bad we ended up paying £120.00 to come home early each.4 days of lack of food.. There was no pastries as stated in the holiday run down no snack bar just a plate of cheese sandwiches that was for the whole hotel.
I just thank Thomas cook for getting us flights out of there.. Credit to Thomas cook.

Well what can I say? The food was disgusting I had an upset stomach, you couldn’t even tell what the food was on some days.
The indoor pool was shoddy. the bar area downstairs was freezing, and had a strong smell of bleach because of the fountain in that area. the room was okay apart from the handle in the bath was rusty and kept falling off the wall. and so did the towel rail. The drinks were disgusting, in small glasses, lot of the glasses were cracked we took 4 back in one night.
The bar staff I found were very nice and friendly. we went to friguia zoo it is brilliant the best day of the holiday. I will never go back to Tunisia ever again. I do not recommend this hotel.
If you are going for the first time I would recommend the new resort Hammamet Yasmin. You are near the beaches are there are alot of new hotels. lot more to do here.

First impression of the Hotel? quite impressive! clean! Friendly! All in all this was not a bad Hotel, not the worst I have stayed in!! But as for the all inclusive that is the worst I have experienced!!!! you had to queue queue queue and when you did get served there was beer, cheap red & white wine their local spirit that they called brandy but in fact tasted like Drambui! YUK! also the time you could get all inclusive was 10am till 11pm then you had to start paying!!!! the food was very repetitive and and served up lunch time and evenings! needless to say by day 4 we had upset tummies of which I still have now!
Won’t be going there again!!!!!!

Definitely not a 4 star even by Tunisian standards! Food varied, but all inclusive holiday makers were disadvantaged.
Very poor service in restaurant and out for drinks and the only drinks available were poor wine, beer and one liqueur! Paying guests got preferential treatment which was confirmed after we ordered a gin and tonic and paid. After that, staff were more attentive in the hope we would order again!
I am aware that this was at the end of the busy season, but staff were apathetic and uninterested. However cleaning staff were thorough and pleasant.
Would recommend not going there!
