Lovely location, right on the beach front and really closr to the main street of shops and bars. Would definatly recommend for a cheap and cheerful holiday on the sea. The apartment, however was right next to the road and if you can catch the maid to turn on your air con its fine because the doors can be shut, however we didnt see her for 4 days and had to have the door open, and like most greek resorts kassiopi has a fixed population of mopeds so be prepared. Apart from a few corfu villa types strutting around as if they own the place kassiopi is lovely and the local area is beautiful, definatly recommend hiring a boat and going around the east coast, finding a few private bays and water side restaurants, this is what i went to greece for. A beatiful island just be prepared for the hellish airport return home. Definatly recommend the eva and kassiopi for a beach holiday

We stayed for three weeks and we loved it. The people are lovely as is the place. Staff are wonderful and we are going back to Eva in May next year. Hope we get rooftop apartment next time (please Maria!!!) but our ground floor one was lovely and cool. Did not find traffic noise a problem at all. Clean, friendly, well equipped and we cant wait to come back. What more can I say. Wonderful.... Jan and Mikey xxx

We stayed at Eva Apartments for two weeks in May 2006. Our studio was clean and with basic equipment, the staff was also friendly. The studio was on the ground floor so unfortunately our view was only of a hedge and the bins on the other side of the road. One night we left out our towels on the balcony and in the morning they were covered in cat hair, so be careful not to leave anything lying outside.
As we were just by the main road the traffic was quite heavy and we were woken early by heavy lorries passing by. But if you manage to get an apartment on the top floor with a view I'm sure your impression of the hotel will be more positive than ours.

Paul and Eva Katsoulakis who own these apartments make you feel at home from day 1. The apartments are basic yet spotlessly clean and airy (with air con for those hot sultry Greek nights) The apartments are just 2 minutes walk from the main street of Koutouloufari, one of my favourite tourist villages on Crete. The area has more restaurants than you can visit on a 2 week holiday, yet no loud noisy bars (although if you want that it is just 1k down the hill in Hersonisos.
A fantastic quietish holiday and we are returning in June 2009.
