Having booked last minute both my husband and I had concerns about the accommodation.
Well it was completely unwarranted - the hotel was exceptionally clean something I look for as I run my own cleaning business in the uk.
The rooms good size and again very clean. The bathroom was lovely very modern with lovely vanity ware and also a bath and shower.
The food was amazing the best Kleftico in Greece cooked by mum.
The staff where fantastic all very welcoming and friendly we would definitely go back with no concerns at all.

This Hotel was very clean & the family who own it are extremely friendly & helpful. We ate in the restaurant a few times in the evening & the meals were good.
The room provided us with a fridge, even though we were on a B&B basis, and a hairdryer, along with air conditioning (payable to the owners). Safety deposit is provided in reception at no extra cost, along with a small library for the essential holiday reading.
The only downside to the location of the hotel was the two bars opposite who essentially compete with each other to make the loudest music, which, unfortunately doesn't finish until around 2am.
For this reason alone we wouldn't return to the Hotel Akti which is a shame, but we would certainly return to this otherwise quiet resort.
There are plenty of little Tavernas, all offering excellent food, and a couple of small supermarkets. There are at least 3 places who arrange very good excursions for less than the cost of those offered by your resort rep.
I would have reviewed this accommodation as 100% were it not for the 2 noisy bars opposite, so if you don't mind loud music, don't be put off staying here.

I stayed at this hotel with my girlfriend for a week in September 2010. All in all, I was very pleased with what I paid for. The room itself was clean an and ideal size for the both of us, it consisted of: twin beds, LCD TV, small fridge, en suite, balcony with chairs and a table, air conditioning is available but you have to pay extra. Breakfast was basic, hard boiled egg, bread, cereal, tea, coffee, yogurt, honey, jam, biscuits and orange squash. We both found this ideal and it did the job. The hotel is situated about 50m from the beach. It's opposite a few bars that do play music till the early hours, which elderly couples and people with children might find off putting, but we didn't mind as the music was really good, ranging from classic 70’s, 80's and 90's tunes to the present. I would recommend you take a mosquito net and plenty of mosquito repellent (make sure it has at least 50% DEET) as we were bitten which did make sleeping a bit uncomfortable as I was constantly waking up and killing them. You have two options; either keep the balcony door closed and bake to death or open the door and get bitten to death. This isn't the hotel's fault, more to do with my lack of preparation. The staff are really friendly and made our stay there really hospitable, which is what you want as a guest. Special thanks go to the people behind the bar, Spiros and Gabriella. The pool is was clean and there are plenty of sun beds and chairs to go around. I recommend this place to anyone there, it’s a quiet area, with shops, mini markets and a fair few restaurants to try, prices range from 10 - 15 Euros each for a three course meal, which is a bargain!!! If you’re looking for value for money, then this is the place to stay. Hope this review helps.
