You'll be given a red card and told to leave the pool! Yes that's right and its up to ' the barman' how long he will ban you for! It cant really be called a snack bar as its either, cheese toastie, hotdog or ice cream and drinks, all over priced. The sunbeds are lined up like soldiers with no room to manoeuvre and the sun brollies will be taken down straight away at the first sign of a little more than a breeze, leaving absolutely no shade... apart from the bar... method in his madness I think! Get those euros out and buy some more drinks! Don't think that you will lay relaxing with a nice bit of traditional Greek music playing in the background, not a chance, its a crackling radio and most of it British music.
There is also a bar through the reception area, this is a huge wasted space as not a lot really happens in here, although there is a pool table, sorry kids no getting out of the sun in here either as its only open in the evenings. The English serving barmaid plays her favourite music, so nothing remotely Greek, has her favourite customers and again high prices. Overall it's a nicely kept place but if you want to converse with Greek people in a nice Greek family run place then George's isn't for you.

Stoupa is literally amazing... such a wonderful place, full of wonderful people!
I have been every year for 9 years and will carry on this pattern for many years to come!
I am 18 years old and love to party at every opportunity but Stoupa is such a magical place I don’t mind that its quite.My mum and dad still don’t understand how my sister and I enjoy it so much. It is an ideal holiday for them but not what they would expect from us. Although there are many young people in the same boat as me that return every year. We always find something to do and the bars and club that are there are great.
I do not know anyone who has travelled to Stoupa and returned-Georges is the place to stay! Not bang slap in the middle but handy for everything needed including the beautiful beaches. Plus, Maria is a gem.
I would recommend this holiday to anyone.

We have been twice to Stoupa and each time was a great experience. Georges was a excellent choice although a little basic.
People are so friendly and Peter who looked after the pool and bar was a great character,
looking to go again this year!

We as a family with two children aged 6 and 13 found Stoupa very nice with a beautiful beach at kalogria. Only a handful of shops, great if you've got kids but not if you like retail therapy.
The accommodation at Georges was huge for a family of 4. But don’t stop here if you’re after chilling and having a laugh round the pool. The cockney guy behind the pool bar is a bit of a stickler for the rules (and there are a few).
This was our first time to mainland Greece but will be sticking to the islands in future.

We are a family of 4 with a 10 year old son and 7 year old daughter. We all had a fantastic holiday. We loved the apartment and the pool - all the facilities were great. The staff and holiday reps were so friendly and helpful.
Have just got back and are looking to book up for next year - we never normally go to the same place twice! Stoupa is magical. Don't forget to try the Ice Cream Parlour on the main sea front - delicious!

This was a fantastic holiday. The villa was superb with breath taking views. Pool and BBQ area are a bonus.
The villa had everything in it you need and is very comfortable. The villa is serviced by a very friendly team.
Although Stoupa is a quiet place to holiday my children of 22, 19 and 16 loved it. The people of Stoupa are so friendly.
We have made lifelong friends there with some local families. My sisters have been holidaying in Stoupa for the last 10 years, but this was our first trip there as a family.
It is now our chosen resort and we have booked for this year and will go back every year.
The food in every taverna was a delight.
Definitely the place for quiet relaxing holidays. The pace of life there is very slow and wonderful.
