We have been to Stoupa 6 times in the past 5 years, need I say that we love the place. On each occasion we have stayed in different apartments, although I have to say these apartments were not the most up to date, they were clean and in a great location. We were lucky enough to have one of the first floor front facing rooms, the view was lovely. Even though the apartments are on the "main" road through the village its not busy at all and we enjoyed many an evening just sitting on the balcony watching the world go by.
I would recommend Stoupa to couples and families, its not for those who want lively bars and discos it more about a good meal and relaxing evenings. The resort centre is closed off to traffic in the evening which is really nice no cars or bikes speeding by while you are eating.
Get up early one day and walk to Ag. Nic. ask anyone they will tell you the way, walk the extra 1.5k to the beach, there's a lovely taverna to sit relax have lunch a cool beer or glass of local wine.
I hope you enjoy Stoupa as much as we do, might see you there as we will probably going back later in the summer.

Have been to Stoupa 6 times in the last 4 years, need I say that we love Stoupa. We have stayed in different accommodation each time. Although I have to say when we stayed at the Angelika it wasn't the best, decor wise, but the view and location was perfect for us, we were lucky enough to have one of the front facing rooms. It was clean and had all the basics and that's really all you need.
Stoupa is friendly, clean and relaxing. Some really lovely Tavernas, a good supermarket and no noisy music bars. I would recommend the walk to Ag. Nic (start early and take a bottle of water). Walk the extra 1.5k to the beach there's a great Taverna, just lovely sitting looking back along the coast sipping a cool beer or glass of local wine.
I hope you like Stoupa as much as we do.

The apartments are basic but serve there purpose ie a place to sleep, wash and make basic food. The real seller for me was the view, amazing sea front facing apartment. The bakery, supermarket is a 5 minute walk as is the nearest beach..ideal for nipping back to the apartment for a quick change or a rest from the midday sun.
Aircon was quite expensive at 60euro for the week, although i couldn't have coped without it.
Stoupa is absolutely stunning and the local people are friendly and food is good and generally cheaper than other euro destinations.

Stoupa is a lovely, relaxing place that has a real 'friendly' feel. The apartments were clean and comfortable (though I’d definitely recommend hiring a fan whilst there!) the air con is quite expensive for a fortnight!!
The nearest beach is a small 2 minute walk down the hill, though I would imagine, even for a small hill, it would be a trek for the elderly coming back up!! Where you will also find the 'front' where there are ample restaurants, shops.
All of the food in the tavernas/ restaurants was excellent and the standard of cleanliness was also excellent.

Stayed here 2 years ago. Accommodation was really first class, everything spotlessly clean. The nearest beach was a five minute walk down the hill but the beautiful Kalogria beach was about 15 minutes walk away but really worth the trek.
The Tavernas and bars are all in within easy reach but not close enough to disturb you with any noise or music.
Stoupa is stunning...it is somewhere I shall return to and would hopefully stay in the same accommodation.

Stoupa hardly changes although there is a lot more building work going on at the moment which will hopefully not affect its character. This year was 'only' our third visit, but we will be back again next year and will be very happy to be in the Angelika again. It would seem that they have been refurbished fairly recently as everything seems to be very new, including the 5 ft high fridge freezer! Very clean and comfortable, we had a downstairs room with a patio at the back of the building. OK, so we didn't get the stunning sea view, but we did get a warm patio in the morning and a cool one in the afternoon and evening, which was great as the temperatures were higher than normal for the time of year and we were able to manage comfortably without using the air-conditioning. We would recommend these apartments to anyone looking for an inexpensive holiday in Stoupa.
