small pokey rooms,no one to switch on the aircon,at least a mile and a quater to the taxi-less village,death trap balcony,wires sticking up through the floor,building work going on all around stinking bins on the road to the beach and 3 huge stinking bins by the beach.stayed 1 night then left for civilized accom else where.do not go here unless you like bad smells noise and walking miles in 95+.village ok but from every view point it is dominated or overlooked by late 1940's greek government machine gun position previously used for slaughtering communists

We spent 2 holidays at Pantazi in 1999 and 2001. It has not changed much since as we have been back to the area every year. The accommodation is basic but clean and the bed comfortable. It is rather claustrophobic as there are no windows only doors with shutters. The triple at the end had windows.
The only complaint that we had was not with the accommodation but with the description which is still here today that it is a 15 minute STROLL to the village. The only person who could get to Aghios Nikolaos in the time is Linford Christie! It is a pleasant 30-40 minute walk. The road down to the beach is very steep and is totally unsuitable for anyone with any disability, especially any heart or breathing problems.
It was nonetheless a wonderful place to stay. The beach is quiet and the taverna which is built out onto the beach is brilliant.

We spent a week there and this year we are returning for two relaxing weeks in June.
The apartments are situated within a lovely area and we would recommend them without reservation.
Advice: The real Greece - so friendly
Activities: All restaurants were favourites - we visited most and will finish off this year!
