One of the worst hotels I've been!

The air conditioning did not work!

The owner completely rude!

T he rooms on dirty!

The pool is green!

We came here in 2008 for the first time. We enjoyed it so much stayed again this year from 13 June - 27. The family remembered us and gave us the same apartment that we had back in 2008. Unfortunally the weather was not kind to us the first week. We do not usually return to the same place twice in case we are dissapointed, in this case can honestly say nothing has changed, same hospitality , room cleaned every day, linnen changed every other day. The location is ideal for a relaxing holiday away from the centre hussel and bussel but near enough to walk down each night to eat. We had some very nice meals but tended to stick to a couple we visited last time we were here. We did try a few new one's but was not that impressed. We tended to walk down the slope to your right and then the Taverna at the bottom of the slope on your right has excellent food and real good service. We told the owners we will be coming back to visit again in 2012 already doing the planning.

We are coming to Kanali studios for more then ten years and every time we enjoy the hospitality from the family Mitsos. The view from the balcony is very nice and the facilities are sufficient and good. Not too close to the centre of Parga, so quit, and a good training to walk up and down the hill! So we can eat whatever we like without worriing to gain weight. And last but not least, we will go again next year!

We stayed here from the 8-22 June. Got to say it was amazing. We had a ground floor room which overlooked the sea. The rooms were cleaned every day towels and sheets changed every other day. It was run by the same family all were very friendly. We would highly recommend this as it was away from the hustle and bustle of the town but near enough. We are hoping to return again in a couple of years. If you have problems walking I would not recommend as it's ok getting into the town but all up hill on the way back. It was nice to sit on the balcany at night and look at the castle lit up with a glass of wine. Got to say in all the years i have stayed in Greece this has got to be the best by far even the balcany furniture was made out of cain and had lovley cusions and very comfortable. This is unusual for Greece it's mostly plastic chairs and tables so it made a nice change.

We have just returned from a 2 week stay in Parga 15th-29th June. Staying at the Kanali Studios, high overlooking Valtos Beach.

The holiday was booked by Manos in the U/K. They are the only company here that books them.

In all our many visits to Greece without doubt these are the best apartment / studios we have stayed at. Kera the Daughter in Law of the owners cleans the rooms daily,

All bins are emptied, beds made and bathroom cleaned, as is the floor. Towels, bed linen changed 3 times a week.

The patio area of the ground floor rooms have conservatory style cane furniture with soft dumpy cushions. Many an hour was spent just looking at the view with a beer.

The views are wonderful with good sea views from all rooms. The Kanali also has a very nice pool that is nearly always quiet.

The only drawback to these apartments is they are at the top of a hill.

It’s down hill either to Valtos Beach 15 mins or the town 20mins, which means its uphill coming back.

This would be no good for anyone with either Heart or walking problems; a taxi is around 4 euros each way.

Our last visit to Parga was 9 years ago, so things have expanded. To be honest it has lost a lot of character. We ate mainly near the castle between the Kanali and the town. The main harbour restaurants are very busy and cramped. As with all Greece it is now expensive.

The airport on our return was a joke; we had to queue in a line from 11am slowly moving along because only one baggage scanner was in use. our flight was 2 pm, we were still in the queue at 1-30.

Then security pushed us through with very little searching.

fantasic aprments they were just lovely graet friendly owners and other torists vryone was polite and great views as we were sitting outside by the pool i spotted dolphins many activites as going around on a pirate ship and jumping of into the blue sea no joke its like a pool and u can go dolphin spotting they come right up close i was lucky to touch one really clean

Beautiful views and very clean. The owners are friendly and helpful. However if you end up with one of the studios be aware that they can be very small. The apartments are quite spacious but all on the ground floor, none of which are mentioned in the brochure.

The apartments are within easy reach of valtos beach and parga town although it’s a bit of a steep walk back up the hill from the beach. Parga town is very pretty and there are plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from.

The people are all very friendly. Its worth seeking out one of the restaurants in the back streets as this was were we had some of our best meals. Though stefonos overlooking voltas beach was good and they had the best ever galactobouriko (semolina and egg custard in filo pastry).

We would go back to Parga but may be not to the same studios due to the size.

The Kanali Apartments are a very friendly place to stay.

The apartments are very clean and the maids do an excellent daily clean on each room. There is compared to other Greek apartments plenty of room and the air conditioning works wonderfully. The pool is excellent, a reasonable size and is very clean and well maintained

The apartments are at the top of the hill overlooking Voltos beach and are no doubt for those who are fitter due to the walking involved which is quite steep on the way back from the beach and from Parga centre. A taxi from the centre back the apartment is 3 euros.

Voltos beach is approx 10 mins walk down the hill and Parga centre around 15 mins though this does take longer due to the narrow streets being lined with little shops and temples to view.

Parga itself is a resort for families with young children or those wanting a quiet resort with plenty of tavarnas to sample excellent food. It does get busy in the evening as people from the surrounding villas drive into the town for a meal and parking would be a problem.

Overall an excellent resort with the Kanali being excellent accommodation (if you can climb the hill)
