We always said the world was too small to visit the same place twice but Parga is such a fabulous place we have! Our second visit was the summer 2006 and again we loved every second. This hotel looks over a small beach which our room overlooked, watching the sun rise and set listening to the sea is so relaxing!
The air con ensures a perfect night sleep and it is located a 2 min walk from the bars so noise is very low too but still close enough to wear your heels! In August the town is popular with Italian families and has a cosmopolitan feel. The nightlife is great, there are plenty of restaurants and bars but you don't get the gangs of lads and girls. Food is fantastic and most restaurants over look the harbour. During the day we mixed days at the beach with trips out and walking.
Grab a local map and go exploring, this time we walked to the Alipasha Castle and back, hard work but well worth it. There are lots of beaches to explore too and day trips. I can't recommend it enough but don't tell everyone!

Although we didn't have a sea view room, but looked over onto the main road, the double-glazing kept out any real noise.
We sat on the terrace every morning, and were confronted with one of the loveliest views I could have imagined. Even the photo in the brochure couldn't do it justice.
Although the beach is shingle, if you sit near the waters edge you don't have to go far,(but get there fairly early.)
A walk up to the Venetian castle, which only takes about 20mins through the old town, where you can sit with a drink is also worth the view.
