This was the best holiday I have ever been on in my life. The hotel caters for your every need and eaven provides towls for the beach or pool. I would highly recomend the horse riding for eather an hour or two. The food at the hotel was amazing and was cooked fresh infront of you, there was a huge choise for everyone. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful eaven the lifeguard at the pool was up for fun. I would highly recomend this holiday to couples and familys wanting to have a relaxing of active holiday.

this was by far the best holiday yet. all inclusive meant just that , the staff were fantastic, they always had a smile . rooms were very clean and towels ect. were changed regularly. would certainly go again. plenty of excursions are on offer if you fancy a change but all your needs are catered for at the hotel where staff really cant do enough for you, and they dont forget a face. there were four in our party and each time we went for our meals , our usual table was set up with our favourite wine and beers, then you were left to enjoy your meal. food was great with enough variety to cater for everyone. thankyou for making our stay memorable, hope to see you next year

Fantastic!!!! Myself, my 2 teens and my friend just got home this morning.
Staff were fab, waiters always remember your favorite drinks etc.
all the staff are so smiley and helpful.
Animation team, Freddy, Mario, Jemes and the rest got very involved with my kids aged 16 and 18. Many laughs and occasional "accidental" bumps into the pool.
Plenty to do or just relax by the pool [or the beach] the choice is yours.
Food was good, plenty fresh fruit and lovely desserts. Got a little bored with selection of main courses but managed to find something every meal.
Rooms were grand, we were given ajoining rooms to the kids but as ours was a double we asked to be moved and got a room in a different block, much to the delight of the kids. they were left in their original room. Spotless, comfortable and better than any other hotel I've been to.
All inclusive means just that, everything bar cigarettes are covered. Massages, all drinks, etc. Paid a deposit for safety box but got it back when leaving. Just bring enough money for tips and excursions, no need for a big wallet.
Weather perfect, only problem was when the generator broke down leaving us without air-conditioning for last 2 days.
Kids are heartbroken leaving their new friends but we'll be back!

Really enjoyed our Holiday, the staff were lovely, very helpful and chatty.
We didn't think there was enough choice of food, The selection was Chicken or Fish most days, And rice with everything,
Food was nice though, more of a variety would of been good.
We did had a really good time apart from that, would probably go back with Children, as its a good resort to keep children entertained

Our recent adult family holiday (7-21 May 08) was very enjoyable.
The staff were friendly and eager to help. Our room had a sea view which lovely; both in the early morning and in the evening. The gardens were beatuiful throughout the hotel grounds. The hotel was of a high standard and well kempt. A wide selection of food were available throughout the day/evening. The beach area was clean and staff were available to help with sunbeds. There were numerous hotel based activites for all ages. Entertainment appeared to accomodate all ages.
Overall, a very enjoyable holiday in a good quality hotel.
Having enjoyed the holiday so much I have immediately booked to return with my children (18 & 22) for one week at the end of August/Sept.

I have been on various All Inclusive and this has to be the absolute best ever. Cleanliness, food choice the amount that was on offer massages, turkish baths etc.
The staff I couldn't praise highly enough, rooms with bathrobes & slippers felt as though I should be at the hilton and staff who spoilt me rotton on my birthday.
It was a perfect holiday and I think it would be very hard to beat.
If you get the chance of this hotel jump at the chance.

We have been to This resort 3 years in a row, we love it and think it is a wonderful place, we are planning on returnin hopefully in 2009.
The people who worked there are lovley and we got on well with all of them, all the staff are wonderful and made our trip all that more happier, we hope that other people experienced the same fun as what we had.
The beaches were lovley and were not to far from the resort.
The resources were great and the hotel was clean and very up to date.

This is the second year my family have been to Les Orangers, rooms extremely clean, beach absolute paradise, food okay but always something for everyone. People exceptionally friendly if you respect their culture. Disappointed only in other English tourists for their rudeness and dis-respectfulness. I will be going next year as we have made a lot of Tunisian friends.
P.S. The Germans were even worse than the English.

We had two weeks at the Les Orangers Hotel Hammamet, the hotel was very good and we stopped in the standard rooms, we were going to upgrade but the room they gave us was OK and had recently been refurbished.
The staff were brill, the entertainment was amateurish but very entertaining and quite funny at times, on our very last night at the final end of the show they put on their version of River dance it was very good and everybody loved it.
A word of caution the drinks were sometimes very strong. I drank beer in the day (only two or three) and G/Ts at night my wife tried them all, and yes we had several hangovers, there is also a nightclub there as well we went in two times but it was very much for the young at heart but never the less it was good.
The only downfall of the holiday was the food, we have been to Tunisia Six times to different Hotels but the food at the Les Orangers was quite poor at times and we complained and so did a lot of other people.
Apart from the food we had a really good holiday and if the food were to improve we would certainly go back there again!

Don't worry, you will have a great time. We spent a week at Les Oranges in May 07.
The weather was hot enough to swim in the very clean sea and pool.
We had 1 day of continual rain but spent it in the bar playing cards and enjoyed it. My wife needed a cardigan in the evening as the entertainment was outside, a bit amateur but very entertaining, and a real giggle.
The staff were friendly and polite and the hotel was nicely furnished and very clean.
This was the best all inclusive package we have ever experienced as everything was included except the cost of the safety deposit box.
The food was excellent with lots of choice, the down side is that it is a similar choice every meal.
The local wine is very good and plentiful.
Met some nice people and had a laugh in the bar and small club after midnight.
The room was spacious and newly decorated the air con is quiet and effective.
There is a jar of Nescafe available by the coffee urn that is much better than the traditionally Tunisian coffee, that is like ground soil! The tea and milk are very British.
Try speaking French and tipping it will get you even better service.
The indoor heated pool is great and hardly used.
We would certainly return.

Just returned from Les Orangers Hotel and having read the reviews before I went I found them misleading for this time of year. We went the first week in November. We had 3 days of sunshine and the rest overcast with pouring rain the last day.
WE (my husband and I plus 2 teenagers) had a great laugh but we made most of our own fun. It is our 4th time in Tunisia and we all agreed that "El Kantaoui Resort" is the place we shall go back too and not Les Orangers Beach Resort Hotel, Hammamet.
Yes the staff were very friendly and yes the rooms were clean but the standard was very basic and definitely 3 star. The pool was filthy, with black and green olives constantly at the bottom. The pool was hardly used while we were there.
There was building going on in the hotel the whole week we were there, and half the hotel not available because of this. The entertainment is sad starting with bingo with a toy camel as the prize every night, but they do make a great effort and it can be a laugh. There is an indoor pool which was kept very clean and we used this. There is also a gym which was a bonus.
There is a laundry but beware because the washing machines leaks and the tumble dryer blows cold air and takes hours. Don’t leave any money in the room.
My two teenagers were the only ones in the disco most nights. We expected this from previous visits to Tunisia this time of year and were going just for a quiet holiday, but if you’re going for night life forget it!! Hammamet is old and not at all clean. We went to the animal park and found that a pleasant day.
I would recommend Port el Kantaoui for a holiday in Tunisia or one of the higher standard hotels in Hammamet (they do exist)
All in all we got what we went for.... a break!! We were disappointed with the weather because there is not a lot to do without the sun. Everything is very cheap, but there are only so many ceramics, leather and brass wear you can stand to look at. They do copies of all the brands, but again, if you know your brands forget it. They are cheap in every sense of the word.
We will go back to Tunisia because we go every year but not that hotel.

This was our 3rd time at Les Orangers and once again a fantastic time was had by all! the only major gripe we had was the fact that we booked the superior sea view rooms and were given a letter on the transfer bus 10 minutes before arriving there stating that the block was closed from that weekend until may 2007 for extensive refurbishments. Therefore we ended up in a very small but beautifully refurbished garden room with our 13 year old son!
Anyway from the start of the day until the end of the day the sun shone, the alcohol flowed and the smiles stayed on our faces. We made some fantastic new friends of all ages from all over the UK (Germans and French just look down their noses at you and don’t seem to know how to have fun!)
Sun loungers were plentiful probably due to the time of year both round the pool and on the beach as was seating for the evening entertainment.
The animation team were first class if you don’t expect west end standards, with something different each night. The five guys, Backow, Karim, Aaymon, Brian and Freddy worked very, very hard and the club dance is a riot!
Food is very good but after 2 weeks can seem a little repetitive. However this is a Muslim country and all I can say is if you live on bacon and sausage don’t go to Tunisia! Our waiter for all 3 times was ash and he's a great bloke too, speaking 9 languages but having that quality of making you feel very special whatever your nationality! our son turned 13 whilst we were there and they made him a cake with candles on, and put a beautiful flower decoration on the table even doing the napkins in a different way for him bless them.
We had all intended going back next year in an extended party (told you we made some fantastic new friends!) but upon trying to book this week the room sizes are altering drastically only sleeping 2 and children seem to be coming up at adult prices! Also there’s no cot space for babies next year. Apparently the hotel has been brought out by Americans which could account for this. anyway its a real shame as we were all looking forward to going back next October but because of this and this only we are going to venture somewhere else in this fantastic country!

Only got back from this holiday two weeks ago and have already booked for next year!
The hotel was very clean and the food was plentiful and varied. All the staff from cleaners to reception were most helpful! The evening entertainment was great. Something for everyone!
Do have one gripe though. We booked superior rooms and were a little disappointed in them, they were tired looking and in need of refurbishment. After looking round the standard rooms we decided to book one of those this time as they were excellent will miss the sea view. But hey you don’t really spend much time on the balcony anyway.
