I travelled with my husband, two children and my parents. We had the most amazing 2 weeks at this hotel and we are really sad to be home. We did not have any bad experiences during our two week stay here.
Food -
There is a buffet breakfast - Eggs, Omelette, Bacon, Boiled Eggs, Pancakes, Sausages, Fruit Salad, Cereal, Yogurt, Croissants, Pain Au Chocolate, French bread, and Toast. If you miss breakfast there is a late breakfast served in the bar.
Lunch - Pool Bar serves Panini’s and Pizza, Beach Buffet serves lots of grilled fish, pizza, pasta, salad, Chicken, Garlic Prawns, even lobster on the BBQ on day. The Main buffet restaurant is also open if you want to eat with the air conditioning on.
Dinner - Italian & Asian are on the beach (very romantic) these have to be booked a day in advance. There is a Tunisian restaurant which also needs to be booked. The main Buffet Restaurant serves all sorts from Lobster, Grilled Tuna, Pasta, Chips, Salad, Cheese Board, Bread,
Rooms - We had a family room which had a double bed in one room and two single beds in the other room. We only had a shower but some of the rooms do have baths. The rooms are cleaned every day with fresh towels. Don't take towels with you as there are pool and beach towels available.
Entertainment - There are a team of entertainers who are around from 9am until midnight. If you want to join in you can but you don't have to. I did Yoga every morning at 10 and then Water Aerobics at 11. My husband did water polo at 11.30 every day. There is also Archery, Beach Volley Ball, Football, Pool Games, Darts, Bowls, Horse Riding (extra cost). The shows are very good in the evening and the kids loved the kid’s disco which is on from 8.30 until 9.00 every evening.
There is no queuing for drinks at the bars as it is mainly waiter service (even by the pool). At dinner you can have Wine if you wish. Water is always available on the side of the bar for you to help yourself and take back to your room.
The first week we were here the hotel was mainly full of French people, however the second week more British arrived. It does seem to be very busy in August especially around the pool. If you tip the pool guys they will reserve you a sun bed.
There is wireless available in reception so take your laptop if you need to use the computer as there were only two and they were both broken by the time we left. The kids seem to stay on them all day playing computer games.
I would definitely take insect repellent as there are mosquito’s around. I am also sure that at some point during your holiday you will have a dodgy tummy but this is probably due to the ice in the drinks or cleaning your teeth with tap water.
We had to call the doctor out one day as my daughter got an ear infection, we asked at reception and she was at our room within 1/2 hour.
All in all we were very very impressed with the food, drinks, and staff. I think the previous review should be read with a pinch of salt. Wherever you stay abroad it is always wise to keep a close eye on your money by using the hotel safe.

I stayed in Les Oranges Hotel for 1 week and i LOVED it. The hotel was lovely and clean and the rooms were always clean and tidy. The entertainment in the night was greatt!! And they had a night club onsight which was amazing. The staff were great, they were soo friendly and approachable they always seem really happy:). The beach is right outside of the hotel which was fantastic. The food however was just ok, this was the only problem i had. However I was really sad to leave and would deffo recommend this hotel as i would deffo consider going back.

7 nights of Laughs

What can I say, the hotel was absolutley fab and the staff were excellent always a smile and nothing was ever too much. The entertainment team excelled and i laughed until my sides ached. From the top of the team to the bottom of the team they were all excellent.
The food (and there was lots it) freshly cooked and lovely so much choice so I would like to say thank you to the chefs (lovely jubbly).
So thank you to all the barstaff, waiters, chambermaids, beechman.
The only down side of this holiday was a not very happy German couple who were determined to try and spoil it for us but they didn't we had a great time.

Having never been an all inclusive fan, we were more than suprised at the quality and service at the hotel. Food was well presented and tasty with a great choice of menu. The fact you have two restaurants at your disposal with different menus to chose from is great. We went for the superior rooms with seaview. at a small extra charge well worth the small amount we paid.Staff and service was as good if not better than some expensive hotels I stay at in Britain on business I am talking so called four star large chains. The only down side of the trip which had nothing to do with the hotel was an excursion we booked with Thomas Cook to the Sahara overnight. What a waste of time and money if you want to rise early at 05.15 to catch the coach then spend more than two thirds of the next thirty six hours on the coach with a 04.15 morning call the second day feel free.

First impression was very good, but the food lacked variety and we were pleased that we were there for just a week. Staff were great - nothing was too much trouble. Had a problem with the shower in our room which, despite the attendance of a 'plumber' was never fixed. Then it all went terribly wrong with the sickness and diarrhoea bug that swept through the hotel, striking down we learned, some 30 of the 44 guests on our flight. We all suspected food hygiene as being the culprit, especially as there was an abundance of flies present, particularly at the Beach Cafe. We were told on the jouney to the airport that it was a country wide problem. Strange though that other hotels in the area appear to have been unaffected.
There we are, possibly a good holiday ruined, but we shall never know. Return is out of the question.

Make sure that your hotel has been paid for

We arrived at the hotel at approximately 11pm, we were sat down and offered a drink to then be told that our agent had not paid the hotel, we were required by the receptionist to pay for our first night again, he explained that we were not the only people that this had happened to.
As you can imagine this was very upsetting, especially as due to the trouble with XL I had written confirmation via email that there was not a problem.
The next day I spent on the phone trying to sort out the problem, and met another couple who had experienced the same thing, then the day after there were more people who were told the same and all of us ended up paying for our stay again on our credit cards.
Since returning our agent and another have withdrawn this hotel from the webiste.
On the other side of the coin, if you do go and your payment is confirmed (in writing) you will have a great time, the staff cannot do enough to please you the food is great the beach wonderfull and it is 100% all inclusive, our experience has not put us off going again, but we will make sure that we book directly with the hotel and not with a third party.
Go enjoy with back up payment confirmation.

We have stopped at Les Orangers many...

We have stopped at Les Orangers many times over the years but this was our first visit after a 7 year break and we were not disappointed. Even the waiters and bar staff remembered us!
It may not be the most plush hotel in Hamammet but it is certainly comfortable with bathrobes and slippers provided and a superb balcony overlooking the beach. The food was fantastic and the animation team deserve an oscar for effort and entertainment value!
The pool area and beach are superbly clean and nothing is too much trouble for the staff who are welcoming and friendly. Our children did not want to come home. In fact we are going back for my 40th in January and are even looking at buying a property out there now!

this was by far the best holiday yet. all inclusive meant just that , the staff were fantastic, they always had a smile . rooms were very clean and towels ect. were changed regularly. would certainly go again. plenty of excursions are on offer if you fancy a change but all your needs are catered for at the hotel where staff really cant do enough for you, and they dont forget a face. there were four in our party and each time we went for our meals , our usual table was set up with our favourite wine and beers, then you were left to enjoy your meal. food was great with enough variety to cater for everyone. thankyou for making our stay memorable, hope to see you next year
