Castille Paris Hotel

As requested, we were given a non-smoking room, which was on one of the renovated floors. The room was just as described on the hotel site; fairly roomy for Paris with all needed amenities. I loved the Bulgari bath products. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was included and was exquisite for a breakfast buffet; it included french cheeses, fruits, tarts, and traditional fare. I cannot say enough about this hotel. I booked it for a very reasonable rate on Otel.com. The rooms were beautiful, spacious (for Paris), quiet, and everything you would expect in a 4 star hotel. The location was wonderful as well - right off of the Place de la Concorde right beside Chanel. I would (and have been) recommending this hotel to everyone I know.

Stayed at the Hotel in August 2007 for 3 nights. On arrival the hotel was very welcoming. The Decor was excellent, the room was beautiful again ecxellent decor 5ft bed everything worked such as Air con ( not noisy). Quality Shampoos & soaps. Breakfast: great choice, nothing too much trouble for the staff, They couldn't have made us more welcome. Stayed at this hotel w/ my family for a week; it was a lovely experience all around. The hotel itself was charming. Though parts of the common areas could use refreshing (new carpets come immediatley to mind), the decor is thoroughly French, the rooms are pleasant, well appointed and clean, the bathrooms are quite nice, and the staff was pleasant and helpful far beyond our expectations. The Castille is a beautifully decorated boutique hotel in an excellent location in the 1st arrondissment. On a quiet street next door to Chanel and across the street from the Ritz. Within walking distance of the Louvre. Many good restauants within walking distance and we felt very comfortable walking to and from restaurants late at night. Hotel staff very accomodating and fluent in English. Helped us make restaurant reservations and calling taxis. Before booking the Castille, we read other visitors' reviews then went ahead and booked three nights in a classic room on a bed and breakfast basis. The classic room we had was small but it was very well decorated, the bathroom small but of a high standard (bathrobes included!) and as we overlooked a courtyard it was very quiet! The buffet breakfast was firstclass! We did not dine in the Restaurant in the evening as it was not open on the first two nights we were there but there are plenty of places to eat in the immediate... more

The Starhotels Castille Paris is lovely hotel in the Madeline area of Paris. What I loved about this hotel was its convenient location to major Parisian tourist attractions. This hotel also has very beautiful decor, a brilliant breakfast and warm, friendly staff who are very helpful. On my next visit to Paris I am hoping to book again at this hotel.

I have stayed at several hotels in Paris and this was by far the nicest. The beds are unbelievable, the location perfect and the staff beyond compare. The rooms are quite large for European hotels and shower is excellent. The breakfast buffet also has anything you could want to eat.. A member of my party left behind cash in her room safe and when I called the next day from Rome they actually found the money and FedExed it to us overnight! You could not ask for more in a hotel than the staff at the Castille provided.

We recently returned from a 2 night stay at the Castille in Paris. This was our second time to Paris, so we chose this location b/c it was in the middle of everything. It is within walking distance of the Louvre, Madeline, Tullieres and a long walk to Notre Dame. It is on a back street behind the Ritz and next to Chanel. The hotel is gorgeous and updated to fit the building. The bed and bathroom were very clean. The bathroom was very luxe with marble tile. My husband organised a surprise holiday to celebrate my 50th birthday.He knew I had always wanted to go to Paris and I was over the moon when he handed me the tickets on my birthday. I felt a bit apprehensive as I always book our accomodation but my fears were groundless.This hotel is ideally situated right in the centre of Paris.Our room overlooked the back door of the Ritz and was within walking distance of all the main tourist spots.
