Me and my partner have just arrived back from ozcan hotel Turunc, I am 21 and my partner 25 we wanted a relaxing holiday for our 1st year anniversary and thats exactly what we got, we arrived after a very horrible 15 hour journey because of the ash situation leavin gatwick but we were greated at reception by a very cheerfull young man who took us to our room over the road in the building opposite (not apartments up the road) which was plesent its all you need a very clean basic dated room with a very very comfy bed! i personally dont spend alot of time in a hotel room only to sleep change shower ect...we had a balcony which was lovely sitting on watchin the world go by of an evening, we had a tv which had an english news and movie channel, a fridge which was very handy a large wardrobe, hairdryer, a safe (free of charge and very sterdy) the hotel food is not really very nice if u arent fussy and eat like a rabbit your ok but not many people i spoke to enjoyed it at all, but for the sake of a £20 charge to upgrade to all inclusive you can deffo get your moneys worth with the alcohol or lunch wasnt to bad....but to eat out is so cheap next door theres a restaurant on the beach (opposite side of main hotel) called mermaids its beautifull best full english in turkey (for my very fussy partner) i had a turkish toastie evey mornin we had dinner there to which was amazin to try the turkish cuisine and Vidot who works there is lovely so welcoming and helpfull! i would go back just to see him! well we are goin back in september not to this hotel though, the hotel is a good base point for the beach and it has an ok pool but very deep all round all hotels are pretty similar from the impression i got from other tourists, but Turunc its self is amazin i love it and want to move there they adopted us as their family out there everyone is so lovely and friendly you wouldnt believe and you dont get any hasstle from the shops or nothing not like busier parts of turkey, if you are scared of hights you may wanna close your eyes coming down the mountain its not for the faint harted most people i spoke to were dreading goin up it including me and my partner and im quite adventorous! it takes about 20 minutes to get down and is well well worth it the journey to the airport in total is about 2 hours maybe a little more but worth every minute its not trashy or ruined and built up at all its a little secret paradise and would erge any one to go! thank you Turunc cant wait to get bk out there. x x x x (good hotel to stay in my merit, diplomat, turunc hotel, hotel meril brand new gorgeous or ozcan if your not fussy dont mind eating out a bit dont like to spend alot of time in hotel perfect location though if you wanna ask me any questions i would be more than happy to help sarahr89@live.co.uk)

we went to this hotel for 2 weeks, dont bother if you are english. aparently if you are english you get put into these filthy apartment. and i mean disgusting. we had paid for all inclusive but we had to ask for loo roll and bedding. we were about 500m away from the hotel. the food (if you can call it that) was awful, cold and no choice. there was only one bar open for all the people there. there were no sunbeds around the pool and the kids were not allowed in the pool from 12-2 as it was dinner time and everything was served outside by the pool. then also the pool was out of use between 4 and 5 this was so you could have tea (stewed in a big urn) and cale (house bricks comes to mind) i would not recommend this hotel at all. we ate out after 3 days as we could not stomach any more of their meals.... breakfast- olives, ham,cheese,rolls,hard boiled eggs......lunch-rice, veg, chicken or pork, salad, mayo (most of this was undercooked and /or cold..........evening meal- same as lunch, preety much.......
not any atmosphere in the hotel at all, the bar staff- very ignorant... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE- NOT HERE- YOU WILL REGRET IT.........

On arrival, after a tedious transfer, it could not have been better. The apartment was large, overlooking a side road, with air con and safety deposit, both free and TV and proper enclosed shower cubicle. It was spotlessly clean, always plenty of hot water and the room was always cleaned when you were out, no knocking of doors etc.
The young lads on reception were very pleasant and could not have been more helpful.
The delightful, quiet resort was perfect for a holiday to relax and eat out. Plenty of restaurants and bars but no noisy nightlife. Would not like to pick any favorites as all were friendly and the food delicious. Beach very clean and sun beds were free. Temperatures were high for June, 35+ so it was an effort to venture out too far from the cool sea.
A perfect weeks holiday, can't wait until next year.
Goldtrail could have been more helpful as after we were bundled into a taxi in Marmaris we were left to our own devices, as there was no rep in Turunc. We had to find out return transfer times from the office in Marmaris via Ozcan hotel.

Ozcan Hotel, Turunc, Turkey.
From the moment we arrived at this hotel we were greeted with the happy smiley faces of receptionist Fadime and Office Manager Murat, who were only too pleased to show us to our room. Which was a very pleasant sight, very clean and spacious with home comforts: TV, Hairdryer, Fridge etc. The interior of the main hotel in which we were staying was very grand, a beautiful base for a beautiful holiday.
The Ozcan Hotel is on the beach but before heading on the beach for a sun lounger pop to the bar where you will be greeted by Orhan and Kenan, the two lovely barmen who will serve you with drinks from the bar whilst Yusut the cook will prepare a wide range of foods, which I have to add even my fussy teenage daughter Sammy enjoyed every dish that was served in the outdoor restaurant, which is beautifully set out around the gorgeous swimming pool.
All guests received very friendly service whilst dining from the three waiters Umit, Ramazan, and Sezer a trio of gorgeous, friendly young men who were only too happy to help and be on the hand to offer hospitality of the highest standards.
After you have filled up in the restaurant you can wind down in the indoor bar whilst watching large screen TV or do a little shopping in the Ozcan gift shop, where you will find a good range of gifts and handbags to die for at very good prices.
The Ozcan even offers a ladies and Gents hairdressing Salon which my husband highly recommends for a cut throat shave, the barber didn't cut his throat but pampered him after the shave with a face massage and a bright green face mask, which made him look like the jolly green giant but never mind a little change is better than none! All this for a few pounds. My tight fisted husband was well impressed!
My family have visited various countries abroad but this holiday was a dream all round. The people who we can thank for making the Ozcan such a fantastic place to holiday is owner Suleyman Ozcan and his beautiful wife Gulay who is on hand and mixes with guests making people feel they belong at the Ozcan along with the fantastic staff I have mentioned making this hotel feel like home, one you never want to leave.
Look out for the Turunc Open International Darts Tournament that the Ozcan sponsors!
