Radisson SAS Sharjah Resort Hotel

Me, my partner and our four kids stayed in the presidential suite at the hotel. The service there is excellent, it is only 15 minutes away from the airport and when you reach the hotel the staff take your bags up to your room for you. The food was fantastic and tghe waterpark the "Wild Wadi" is just a few miles away. I could not have hoped for a better hotel or a better holiday!

I stayed in this hotel with my wife and child and all enjoyed this place. The general layout and ambience is warm and exotic.You hear waterfall in the lobby and as you look over there is an artificial water fall cascading next to the restaurant. Staff are very friendly and accomodate most things, business centre deal with all your queries efficiently ,confirm tickets etc. Taxis are easily available outside and through the hotel. The hotel seems really nice from the exterior pictures and the pictures of the beach resots on the website, but they aren't showing the real pictures. The beach resort is right accross some big industrial plant, which made it kid of disturbing to swim in. The rooms were really tacky, it seems as if they kept the same stuff from 1982 and still use it today. They free Wi-Fi is so slow!!! The staff is rude! The good thing about the hotel was the location!

At this moment this hotel lies far behind the standards know at the Radisson Sas chain. The hotel is undergoing renovations that are well due, as the rooms are slowly but surly deteriorating.The renovations are done in such a manner that your stay in the hotel is not interrupted or disturbed almost in any manner. The location is somehow problematic as you are far away from any serious shopping center. We went to the Radisson on sept 5 for 2 weeks with our 20month old son.Staff are very helpful and friendly without being in your face.They were very good with my son even in the restaurant when he was being a bit noisy(every evening). Rooms were lovely with a king size bed and great view. Downside is all the works going on at the moment .You could hear the noise from the tractors etc digging the new pool while you were trying to relax on the beach or by the pool. My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 10 nights in August and have had one of our best holidays ever. The hotel is large and modern with very spacious rooms (but sadly for us no balconies). The staff were excellent and the food was very good. There is quite a lot of work going on at the moment, inside and outside, which is not mentioned on the website. This hotel is large, luxurious and modern. It deserves its star rating and its staff work hard to maintain this status. They were ultra-helpful and pleasant throughout the entire stay. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms very commendable. The hotels ammenities were also very crediable. I would however note a little dissapointment at the private beach on a private lagoon. This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. The people running the hotel were fantastic (they were very friendly and helped to make the stay special), the place was always clean and tidy. The beach was always clean and the swimming pools were ALWAYS monitored by at least two people. In fact there were plenty of people around and eager to help you in any way they could. Was probably a great hotel 30 years ago but has not been touched since then. Dirty, damp, dusty, old delapidated furniture, brown instead of white net curtains, everything very 70s and yet rated as a 5 star hotel. Beyond belief. Only thing going for it, helpful, friendly staff.

We stayed in radisson during 7 nights.The staff is really friendly and efficient.Nice and large bedroom with a king size bed, and a dressing room,view on the beach and the corniche road Good full buffet breakfast. Each evening there is a theme buffet: italien, fish and sea food... Really pleasant lobby: a small forest with big trees a waterfall with big fishes and ducks.A shuttle from dubai airport to the hotel can be arange for 60 dirhams per way.
