very disapointing !
My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel in paris after missing our flight home . we found the hotel cold , small and very very basic. The location was ok but certainly not great. We would not advise this hotel to anyone . We had a lovely hotel before missing our flight. we would recommend that there is much better accomadation in Paris for the same price .
penny pinching hotel
clean hotel but rooms very small as you expect in paris. However some elements of penny pinching were unsatisfactory e. g only one tea bag and one coffee sachet left for guests and no milk! Also staff switched heating controls down below the level we had set as being comfortable. This is only a 2 star at best and the location is quite a way from the metro.
cute hotel
This hotel was clean, nice, safe and small. The people were frindly at the desk unlike some people we encountered in paris. 10-15 min. walk to subway plus connections made it inconvenient. The area was very residential with nice markets, cafes, and resturants, but no sight seeing close by. Noisy street, ask for a room on at least 4th floor and up. Beds not supportive and slightly uncomfortable. I placed 2 pillows under mattress for extra support. Breakfast room very small and crowded. But for the price it met our needs.
very enjoyable
we have not long returned from a week away in paris. This hotel was very nice and the staff were very polite and helpful. The hotel is quite central and is surrounded by cafe bars and restaurants. Although 5 minutes down the road was a homeless unit and when walking back to the hotel late at night i did find this quite intimidating. Overall i would recommend this hotel as we had no problems as such and the hotel itself was lovely.
Will definately stay here again!
My husband and I stayed here for 9 nights on our honeymoon. We were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The reviews I had read were not all that favorable, but we took the chance and definitely do not regret it. I know everyone's tastes in hotel differ, but I consider myself a picky person and still enjoyed the hotel. The rooms are small, but were big enough for my husband and I, and our luggage. Our room had no A/C, but we slept with the windows open (two large French door type windows) and it was very comfortable--even needed... more
A warm and friendly place to stay
A warm welcome, a warm hotel, clean comfortable rooms, quiets location, excellent standard of cleanliness. Breakfast room very cramped, I recommend room service at breakfast time to avoid an almost unbearable crush. Reception staff are very helpfull. Its a long walk to the Arc de Triomph though!
Decent place to stay...
After reading the other reviews we were hesitant about staying here for our honeymoon but it turned out all for naught. We were there in late Occtober of this year and experienced none of the conditions described by others. The hotel was small (which is to be expected), but clean. The front desk staff was very friendly helpful in getting us into our hotel room early and recommending places to eat. The location is fairly good with a 10 minute walk to the nearest metro station and a 20 minute walk to the Arc itself. We had a room facing... more
3 stars on what planet?!?!
We booked a one night stay at this hotel through Expedia, primarily because its location wasn't too far from where our airport shuttle was dropping us off, and it was quite inexpensive (since we were only going to be there for about 8 hours, we did not want to spend too much money). Well, you get what you pay for! Even though Expedia rates this as a 3 star, it should be rated a 2 star at most. It's tiny, dingy, and fronts on a very busy, loud street. Our room's furniture had just recently been painted with a high gloss oil-based paint,... more
Won't go back
Just come back (jun 04). In the first room the toilet flushed constantly. Reported it and went out for dinner, Came back late, problem solved, the cold water had been turned off!!! Only scalding water, so no loo or washing facilities. Next day moved to another room, at least the water worked, but no plug!! Didn't ruin the trip but don't go there.
Dont Stay Here
Stayed in this hotel for 2nights in Nov.2003. On arrival the bedroom was very cold, and was small, hardly able to walk around the bed. The bathroom was tinyand was not cleaned very well . .The decor and furniture were grubby and badly needed updating. The breakfast room was very basic. Our break in Paris was spoilt because we stayed in this hotel.
