A good nice, small and comparatively costly hotel.
I went there this Dec ‘07 and it cost me Rs 20000 for 6 night stay including breakfast. It's located 5 minutes away from beach and a very good hotel with only 21 rooms.
However since its 4 km away from main Kovalam beach i.e. light house it may become a little boring if you want to spend more than 2 nights there. The hotel itself is good when compared to other hotels in main Kopvalam with a nice relaxed environment and a good pool.

It’s a small resort located near Samudra beach. Its better say as Kadaloram resort than a Kadaloram beach resort as it is not on the beach, it is away from the beach.
Staff are quite nice. Rooms are small but good. Food is not good, its better to eat outside in restaurants than in resort.
You will get good food outside for less price. Pick-up and receiving was good. But send off was upsetting. Beware of what services they are charging and what are included in your package.

My husband and I had a very enjoyable holiday at the Kadaloram. It is a quiet, relaxed hotel. The staff were very nice and helpful.
There are lots of places to eat or the hotel offered very good meals.
Going to the adjoining beaches was no problem, they are within walking distance. Or a tuk-tuk ride. Taxis were also available if required.
The pool was excellent, and the gardens very nice.
We are hoping to return in 2008.
