The hotel was superb. Such good service and very comfortable in every way. Probably the best I have ever stayed in, better than the Mandarin, Hong Kong.

The Leela is second to none!... The food was excellent, the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. The hotel was immaculate, both in cleanliness and general maintenance.
Getting about was easy using both the public taxis or hiring the use of the hotel taxi cars. The drivers were always helpful and informative about the places and sights you wanted to visit..
The Hotel was located on a headland with beaches either side, just an easy stroll away. If you don't fancy the public beaches then the Leela has a small private beach that is well served by the staff.
If you are looking for a luxurious and carefree holiday then this is the place to go.
Kerala has so much to offer the visitor - the Leela resort is the icing on the cake.- you will not be disappointed with this hotel. There was simply nothing I could fault it on.

Excellent! A first class hotel. It was our first visit to India and we had a wonderful time.
The people are so friendly the food was great only one dodgy tummy in 3 weeks!
The hotel has its own private beach which was good, as some of the Asian men try and take photo's of all the western women in their swimwear, which can be a bit worrying.
The hotel rooms were a very high standard fresh fruit and water was put in the rooms -
every day, bath robes the works!
Will return.

This is an excellent choice at a fairly reasonable price. In the main building, the bedrooms are well appointed and equipped, the public rooms air, spacious and spotless. There is an " infinity" pool at reception level but the sun beds are a bit limited in number (although we never failed to find one).
You can go down to the beach (private) where there is also a bar and changing facilities. A golf buggy train service is frequent for those too idle or incapable of walking. Breakfasts were superb, but we didn't eat in the hotel during the evening preferring to take a stroll to nearby Kovalam or Samadra beaches. (You can get a taxi or take a 10 minute walk.)
The hotel is set in large grounds which are well maintained. I would highly recommend this hotel.
