Flamingo Hotel

If you like to be within walking distance of the action, but not in the middle of it, then Flamingo is a great place to stay. The hotel is located on the beach, with the pool area at the rear spilling out onto the shingle strand. The pool is clean, with ample sunloungers and table tennis available. There is a reasonably priced bar with a good snack menu. The room was large, with efficient air con, TV and nice bathroom. The room was cleaned daily. Absolutely loved this place. I went with 4 friends and all being single at the time had a brilliant time with them. The hotel was excellent. The rooms were clean and spacious and our balcony had a good view from it. The beach is literally right on your doorstep so we were on the beach quite a bit. In the pool even more though and the bar is very handy for when u are just lazing around wanting a soft drink. Only had Efes beer on tap and drinking that for 2 weeks did get a tad tedious but Aray and Numan behind the bar were always happy... more

My husbnd and I styed at the Flamingo hotel on what was our first visit to Turkey and we totally enjoyed our stay. The hotel is clean and the staff are very fiendly and obliging. The weather was fantastic and the people are so friendly! We would certainly go back to the Flamingo hotel it is perfectly placed for the beach and just far enough away from the husstle and busstle of Marmaris town. First I would like to say that the hotel is good, clean, has a good location right on the beach, and most of the staff were nice. The breakfast was good, but dinners seemed aimed at the Russians BUT it was a shame the hotel was full of the unfriendly russians and polish. The owner of the hotel made it very clear he didnt want any english staying there, by blanking all the english, but he was quite happy to talk to the russians.he was pig ignorant and wouldnt smile or talk to the english. My friend and I stayed in this hotel and we loved every minute of our time there! It is very clean with clean towels provided daily. We went half board and the food is excellent with so much choice. I was trying to diet but after the second day I gave up! The desserts are so moreish! The staff are very helpful and make you feel welcome. My friend and I will definitely go back as we had such a pleasant experience. more

The Hoopers West Midlands A wonderful holiday at this hotel for our first stay in Turkey we would certainly go back to the same place. Ideal for people with walking difficulties as it is so flat and you can walk for miles. A very clean an friendly hotel staff are wonderful, they even carry your drinks onto the beach. Very clean towels changed every day the beds were changed at least 4 times during our stay. We would reccomend Flamingo 2 to anyone who wants a nice relaxing time. more

Just got back from Marmaris where we stayed at Flamingo. That was my first trip to that country and I was not disappointed by anything. The hotel staff is really friendly and I got the impression that they do their best to make those who stay there once come back again and again. The place is very quiet. The beach is so close - really about a couple of minutes from your room. Rooms are cosy and spaceous. The meals they serve are absolutely fantastic!!! We were trying not to overeat haha but that was not possible most of the time... more

flamingo apartments are set in a good location just 2 min walk to the beach, with resturants close by (greasy spoons) supermarket and mc donalds just down the road. the apartments are clean and spacious although u get wot you pay for they are only 2 star. The pool is lovely and we had it 2 are self most of the time. the guy that owns the place is so nice will go out of his way for anything. hope this helps x more

this was my second visit to this hotel and i realized that my first pleasure was not my luck but the hotel is always nice. it has a very nice beach and a very clean swimmingpool. the wiev is also magnific. when we arrived at the hotel it was 9 pm and the dinner was over, but they waited for us while we had a nice and romantic meal. At the day we were leaving the hotel we wre supposed to leave the room at 12 am since it should be cleaned up, but i was watching a film untill 2 pm. clean hotel, kindly stuff, deserves tourist... more

flamingo1 , very nice hotel, great food try their yummy steaks!!!! we found hotel staff very friendly but a little young and imature. only thing we missed a fridge, flamingo 2 has fridges but we were glad we stayed in flamingo 1. if you are tempted to buy dvds from the man who comes to hotel be careful, not very good copies!!!! i think if you have young children it would be a good hotel for you . they have two good pools and a play area. only once in 2wks was their any entertainment! a very good barbicue night.<br... more
