Aalborg Hotel, Amsterdam
The Aalborg Hotel is located in the old town area in southern Amsterdam close to many attractions. Opposite the hotel guests will find the beautiful Sarpathi Park. The hotel has a total of 36 bedrooms which all have television, radio and telephone and the hotel has a bar also.

We spent in this hotel 2 nights and it was really good choice! Cheap,in quiet part of city,but only 100 meters from tram station and 10 minutes from city center by tram.
Hotel looked restored,room was nice.
Our room was clean,even on the top of the door,when we were testing,if it clean truly was :) But on blankets,which lay on the bed,were some hair.That was pretty disgusting.Bed by itself was fortunately clean. It was disadventage,that room was smaller than on the photo on hotels website,but we were all the day in the city,so it wasnt such a problem.
There was TV(but whitout remote controller),radio,alarm-clock,phone and bathroom.
Bath was very small,hardly to sit,much more difficult to stand,when having a shower.
Hotel has an elevator,small one,but better than narrow dangerous Dutch stairs:)
Breakfast was rich and tasty and was nice start of a day.
I would definitely recommend this hotel for its price and quiet neighbourhood,for family and unpretending people it is ideal.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Amsterdam.
For a 3* rated hotel it was good value for money, I shared a triple room and it was big enough for all of us to put ourselves and our luggage in!
Although our room overlooked the road, it was quiet overnight and we didn't notice any traffic noise.
It was convenient for the town centre, in walking distance, though there was a bus stop close by for people who didn't want to walk.
Breakfast was well stocked, though the toaster was too small and not very efficient. Some mornings we even got doughnuts :-).
We found the best value deal from the hotels own website.
