I booked this hotel hastily and with concern to cost, as I found hotels in Amsterdam quite expensive.
Before I travelled I read the reviews and was quite annoyed with myself for not doing so Prior. The mentioned roadworks were on hold for some reason, and after struggling to find the place, we were pleased with what met us. Our room was really quite bright and modern and above all else clean. The staff were indeed cordial and were pleased with the location in general.
There is an Irish Bar over the road, which was fantastic!! I can't recall the name, and it was expensive - but rightly so!
Recommended.
