Sep 2010, WHITEBEAR

This hotel is very poor 90% of the staff are very rude i think the restaurant staff have forgot how to smile it might be because the food is so bad they are embarassed to i dont class this hotel all inclusive as i had to pay for diet coke not happy as im diabetic the bar toilets are a degrace the smell is unbelievable it makes you want to vomit the transfer is more like 2hours and 15mins not hour and half also the complex is very much set up for the french the information you get from your rep about the hotel is poor the only good thing is the maid cleans your room daily and properly

At first I was very worried about going to Kinza Zenith hotel after some of the reveiws I read on here! But all I can say is that I had a fantastic week away at Kinza Zenith and is deffinatly thinking about going back there!
The animation team and staff were brilliant along with the evening shows they put on and the disco at the end of each night. The pool was great very clean and sun loungers were avalable at all times around the pool.
The food was great plenty of choice ranging from traditional tunisian dishes to english food and the cocktails were very yummy too.
Our room was very spacious and very very clean!!! We had a great balcony view over looking the local mosque and mountains.
The location of Kinza Zenith was five minutes away from the beach which was lovely! We was a five minute taxi drive away from the local market and a 2 minute walk to local shops.
I was such a great place to go I would recommend it to anyone!!!!!!!!!!

I have just returned from this hotel with my husband and two children aged 31/2 and 9, after reading some of the reviews was worried what i was going to. This hotel was a lot better than people gave it credit, rooms very clean, pool clean food Tunisian and French but was all fien, always something to eat, from fresh cooked fish, chicken and fish to pizza's and pasta dishes,. The best bit of the holiday is the animation team they were great especially Cross and the children's animation team they were great and my kids have had one of the best holidays they have ever had, lots of games and disco's to keep them amused. This hotel is very much French based but everyone was friendly and all the kids played together whether or not they could understand each other, would deffinatley go back.

well what can i say the only down side was the coach trip from monastir airport to the hotel it stopped at a lot of of other hotels and ours was the last stop it took about 2 and a half hours when we arrived we were taken to the resturant and i couldnt beleive my eyes the amount of food available was unbelieveable and the choice was fantastic i didn,t recognize any of the dishes as it does cater for mainly french tastes i tried several bits and bobs and it was all good each meal time there was fresh fruit ,salad , an array of hot dishes and the desert counters were piled high with cakes. the room was basic but cleaned everyday with clean bed linen and towels. The pool areas were cleaned everyday and the animation team put on events for kids and the adults, for the kids there was a play area, volleyball, football, mini discos, dance classes, mini golf and exercice classes in the pool for the adults there was the same plus archery, saying that i played volley ball and water polo every day and being the only english person taken part it really help me intergrate with the french holiday makers and they called me everytime there was a game or activity happening. If chilling out is your thing then there are sun loungers but be advised get your towel on there early as they are soon snapped up.drinks and food are available all day if you are all inclusive for the kids theres orange ,lemon, peach cordials and coke from 8am til 11pm as for the adults they get the same plus tea (not english)coffee, water white, red and rosso wine and a local lager. All in all it was a great holiday and i highly reccomend it to couples and familys alike it is relaxing and entertaining for both parents and children so go on try some thing different and alot cheaper than the normal spanish holidays us brits seem to enjoy.

i wouldnt listen to some of the comments that have already been posted on here. i have just returned from tunisia where i spent a week at kinza zenith with my girlfriend and i have to admit i was a bit anxious after reading some of these comments.
we arrived at the hotel after an hour and half journey and were immediatly shown to our room, which was basic but livable. there was no noise of trains watsoever. the hotel was nice, clean and the food was very good.
the only thing i didnt like was being pestered by the local reps for trips whilst trying to sunbathe and the fact that it is a french based hotel and most of the attention is put to them. but everyone speaks english there so it wasnt a problem.
A credit to the hotel was the annimation team, the shows were fantastic, they put so much effort into making you feel comfortable and enjoying your stay.
Hammamet wasnt what i thought it would be, but take a short 15min journey on the tour train which takes you to yasmine hammamet, its very nice.
would recomment this holiday to anyone.
so dont listen to the bad reviews

having just returned from the Kinza...

Sep 2008, Mrs C Bulmer

having just returned from the Kinza Zenith Complex in Hammamet, I found the hotel very disappointing, nothing like the photo's on the internet, the all inclusive option is of a very poor standard, the food was usually cold and had to be microwaved, the hotel caters mainly for french holiday makers, food choice is limited, this is the only time I have ever had popcorn for my breakfast, although the cost of the holiday was quite cheap, the overall standard of the accomodation is very poor. The all inclusive facilities stop at 11pm drinks are not available including water and ocffee. Cakes are provided in the afternoon and are left on the bar, uncovered and ususally covered in flies. Hammamet itself does'nt have much to offer, is very dirty, and tourists are hassled constantly. The tunisian men think nothing of propositioning the tourists, which I found to be totally unacceptable. This is my first and last visit to tunisia. I would ask anyone to think carefully before booking this hotel

After a long 2 hour night drive from...

After a long 2 hour night drive from the airport, we arrived to friendly staff who immediatley showed us to the dining room which was most appreciated. We were shown to our rooms and if im honest we were dissapointed in the standard, even though the maids efforts of flowers on our bed and towels shaped like animals, i believe this was to take your eye away from the very old furniture. Our tv had no buttons!, the beds rock hard pillows like bricks! the bathroom.....well not the cleanest! It has to be said the maids did their best and anything we needed they always helped.
BEWARE: 7.40 EVERY MORNING LOUD TRAIN THE LINE IS NEXT TO THE HOTEL! But trust me you'll get used to it!
Just to warn you we did get stuck in the lift once but no harm done!(phisically)
At this point we thought the next 2 weeks was to be hell.
Breakfast always great, omlettes, pancakes, cereals, doughnuts, eggs, sausages and lots more.
Lunch Salads, pasta, meats, veg, chips all edible and puddings they all look nice but taste the same and fruit always avaliable.
Dinner basically the same as lunch but more fish and more meats and potatoes, bbq everynight.
Drinks very disappointing kids coke taste disgusting but fruit juices ok, alcohol misguided information in brochure, all there was, was watered down beer, white, rose and red wine manageable, Muskat local liquour, Ceratine local whiskey and the tunisian fire water! any other drinks need to paid for.
Water is avaliable out of the water dispensor but not nice! Go to the bar insist on a bottle they will say no but insist again.
The animation team are a great bunch of young, tireless people who entertain all ages throughout the day and night. 10/10 for them.
Although the shows they put on at night are something to be desired!
Pool area is clean and always tidy but get your towel on that sunbed early as there is not enough.
The entertainment and music is repeated everyday take your Ipod!
Beach is great, sea is clear and very warm in july. Only 2 dinars a sunbed mat for all day.
All trips ok but avoid the Medina trip with the trip agents in the hotel its a scam they take you to a carpet shop and are very insistant, Do not buy if you dont want to.
The Medina is a walled town and is worth seeing, its in hammamet town, hop in a taxi and just ask for the Medina. The taxis are easy and cheap to use.
Overall the hotel staff are friendly but it is very French.
If you want a Camel ride find Majid in the hotel hes lovely.
Genrally the hotel needs updating and balcony enlarging but overall its alright!
I kinda miss it!

This hotel is great i arrived on 23rd July 2008 and departed on 30th July 2008. The food is fantastic and the deserts are out of this world, anyone who cannot find anything to eat must be really really fussy. The entertainment they put on for the kids and adults was brilliant there was always something to do, the room was cleaned everyday and a flower laid on the bed to add something a bit special. A must do is the Pirate Ship tour and Quad Biking all worth the extra cost. Waking up each morning to the sun and heat was such a pleasure especially after the British Summer we get. Highly recommended Hotel. When out shopping you do get hassled alot learn to bargain they will give in eventually!!! One place i don't recommend is if you are asked to go to a market and Madina to see a woman making a carpet please don't be taken in you do get to see the Madina and carpet making but they ask you to go upstairs to see more carpets, and before you know it the owner has a couple of young lads laying out aload of mats and carpets and their faces drop when you say your not interested and the owner keeps hassling you all the time. In the end we bought a small mat just to get out of there. And that was the only thing i would like to WARN you all about and there was no market there just a few shops. There is a good market though in Nabeul taxi's are very cheap just 5 Dinas each way (about 2.50). PLEASE GO YOU WILL ENJOY.

Every year my family and I go on...
5 / 10
Mar 2008, Miss A Whittaker

Every year my family and I go on holiday and I was not impressed by this "4*" hotel at all. The rooms were small and bland with leaky toilets and dirty bed sheets. Yuck.
Although the staff were pleasant, and entertainment (particularly in the evening) was good, the resort itself was unpleasant - especially with the disgusting sewage smell lingering around the pool bar. Extremely off-putting. Another thing we found was that there were very few Brits at the resort but lots of French and Italian, so naturally, little English was spoken
Another disappointment came in the beach. Just a short walk away from the hotel, we were disheartened to discover that the sea was dirty, there were no water sports whatsoever and it was completely dead - clearly the other holiday makers agreed with us on this one.
Having said that - the holiday was good when we got out of the resort, visiting the old Market town, water park and on a superb camel ride.
Overall - Hammamet is awesome, definitely worth a visit. Just don't stay in the Kinza zenith if you're after anything pleasant.
