Holiday Inn Hotel

The Holiday Inn in Killarney was a shining point in our trip. they had a pool...no other hotel had a pool...what do you do with kids who are sick of tour busses and it's raining out? The room layout is weird, and they too don't believe in giving you washcloths...the tv is in the kids room instead of the main bedroom...but all in all...this was a good find for the price. They gave me a great deal on the spot...I'd stay again.

Myself & my husband stayed in the Holiday Inn in july for a short visit but it was so good we are looking forward to going back!! The rooms were lovely & spacious and very very clean!! I loved the relaxed atmosphere in the bar and the food there was just delicious. Top marks to the chef!! The leisure centre was very nice & clean and the pool & jacuzzi was just what we needed after a long drive!! Over all well worth a look if anyone travels to killarney- Angie in Cork

I recently visited Killarney and left the booking of the hotel to my girlfriend. I was very worried when I was informed that we were staying at the Holiday Inn but all my fears were met with the most helpful staff that I have encountered in a long time. The rooms were adequate but spotless, which in my opinion is essential. Both breakfasts went very well and the dinner was just fantastic. Keep up the good work and I will see you soon.

My Husband myself and two friends have had a above average stay at the Holiday Inn in Killarney, every thing was spot on. We enjoyed our stay there very much, as for Killarney we had a great time, the scenery was out of this world,pubs with there entertainment in the evenings was great We also found the people very friendly and helpful top marks all round

As part of a Globus tour, we stayed at the Holiday Inn, Killarney for two nights. It is reasonably modern and well outfitted, but is just a medium range hotel - fine, but nothing special. There is no air conditioning if you require a cool room at night! The hotel manager greeting our group and bid us farewell upon leaving - a nice touch. Rooms were smaller than higher level hotels, but clean and comfortable. Stayed in this hotel in May 2003 for a weekend. Had a suite which was very spacious. Room was clean. Staff were very nice. Leisure centre was small but good place to relax when the Irish weather keeps you indoors. Breakfast was awfull. Buffet was not stocked properly, kids sticking there hands into everything and then putting stuff back! uggh! - restaurant not kept very clean & tidy during breakfast time - would not like to have had my evening meal there - good luck there are pleanty of good restaurants in Killarney town. I stayed two nights at Killarney's Holiday Inn, and I found it to be an acceptable, attractive, and pleasant place. I enjoyed tasty "pub grub" in the bar. It was a reasonable walk into the interesting city-centre. However, I'm venting my deepest frustrations over one issue---and I'm feeling better already. Over my polite but firm protests (perhaps I should have been less polite!), I was given a smoking room. The last hotel guest had obviously smoked three packs of Marlboros while in the room. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Killarney for 1 night in January 2003. We had 2 double beds for me, my wife, and 2 children. The room was clean and reminded me of the USA Holdiay Inns. Apparently this hotel caters to families with small kids. They were running up and down the hallways until 2 or 3 in the morning, while the parents apparently were in the attached pub.
